Garden Apartment near Burriana Beach, Nerja, Costa del Sol. Idyllic Setting With Elevated Views Of The Mediterranean, Just Minutes From Burriana Beach

Imagine a long sloping valley, inclined towards the south and looking out over the blue mediterranean. At the crown are the majestic peaks of the sierra almijara and sierra nevada mountains. The overall feeling is of harmony, with green valleys, rugged mountains and white-washed moorish style villas. Located just above the Burriana Beach and a 10 - 12 minute walk to the centre of Nerja. This is the peaceful haven we have chosen to locate The Garden Apartment.

**The tropical garden and professionally maintained pool are not shared - they are for the exclusive use of guests at The Garden Apartment.

Air Conditioning for summer, providing efficient and comfortable heating during cooler winter months.

Broadband Internet WIFI (P.A.Y.G.) throughout apartment.

The apartment is located in a quiet residential road where parking is free, unrestricted and usually in plentiful supply. Most guests manage to park immediately outside the gate or within a few metres of it.

If you chose not to rent a car, we can arrange for a Nerja taxi to collect you from Malaga Airport and take you back at the end of your stay. The driver would have the keys from us in advance and would take you directly there without the need to worry about collecting the keys on the way in. For the return, you would simply hand the keys to the driver and he would return them to us. The regulated fare is currently 69 Euros per trip, payable directly to the driver, which is less than the Malaga taxis charge from the airport rank.

Our check-in time is approximately 1:30 PM and check-out is 10:30 AM to provide time to our maids to prepare the apartment for the next guests' arrival, usually the same day. If you have a late flight, there is usually somewhere we can suggest to store your luggage on that last day if we have new guests arriving. If we don't, then, you are welcome to stay as long as you need on the last day.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: When you arrive The Garden Apartment will be freshly cleaned and serviced with the beds made and a supply of freshly laundered towels will be provided. For stays of more than one week linens and towels will be replaced weekly with freshly laundered items. Other: Bedroom has sliding 'French windows' leading to deep 'L' shaped south facing terraces.

Perfectly Peaceful Apartment

This was our second stay at the Garden Apartment and we enjoyed it even more than the first. The apartment offers privacy, is bright, clean and very well equipped. The garden is delightful and having the use of the lovely pool is icing on the cake. It is within easy walking distance to Burriana beach, the centre of Nerja and is close to large supermarkets. The apartment's location is also suitable for accessing interesting walks in the area such as the 'Rio Chillar'. The English owner is very helpful and friendly and pleased to suggest places of interest. The availability on the Inter-Sol website is always up to date and enquiries are answered promptly. We are definitely returning.

The garden and pool truly are private and exclusive to guests at The Garden Apartment, not shared with anyone else and this is the only apartment we know of in Nerja with such an amenity! Beautiful...and our own pool...loved it!

My husband and I spent ten days at The Garden Apartment this July and had a fantastic time...just loved it! The apartment has all you could need for a self catering holiday plus a fab pool all to yourself, beautiful garden and a very spacious terrace on both sides with lovely views. For us it was perfectly located being a short walk to the local supermarket, Burrianna Beach and Nerja town centre. Leisurely breakfast on the terrace each morning looking down towards the beach was so relaxing. We also enjoyed having a barbecue on a few evenings...other nights we would sit with a nice glass of chilled wine before heading into Nerja centre to visit some of the fab bars and restaurants the town has to offer...Nerja is beautiful. We had a wonderful holiday and found the apartment much more relaxing than staying in a hotel...we will definitely choose here again on our next visit to Nerja. Oh, think it's also worth mentioning that we booked our taxi driver (who also passes you the keys to the apartment) through the owner and the service was perfect...would recommend.

Peaceful home from home

This apartment feels secluded and calm, even though it is only a short walk from Burrianna beach. Ideal for a middle aged couple, like ourselves. I loved the private pool and the view towards the sea in the distance. Booking a taxi through the owner was very well organised.

There IS a special atmosphere there, a feeling of peace and harmony. It still remains the only apartment in Nerja overlooking it's own private and exclusive pool and garden. Yet, as you say, all the amenieties of The Burriana Beach, voted one of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol, are only a short walk away!

Late May Perfection

Stayed at the Garden Apartment for a lazy week away from the rat race. The peace and tranquility were the first things I noticed along with the cool deep pool. The apartments location is close enough to Burriana Beach to make it accessible on foot but remote enough to remove you from the world at large.

I wont recommend restaurants etc as this is subjective except 34 which the owner thoughtfully provided a discount voucher (which I thoughtfully forgot) All in all a fabulous week and one I shall definately be revisiting..Thanks to all involved in getting us there which was completely hassle free.

A perfect summer break

We have stayed in the Garden Apartment for two consecutive years and definitely will be returning.

From booking to departure the helpfulness of Nick was outstanding. Eating breakfast on the terrace in the early morning sun, relaxing in the private pool and beautiful views to the sea just make a fantastic holiday. A short walk to the beach, and close to the typically Spanish town of Nerja to people watch and have a drink just makes it perfect in every way.

Its a quiet , quaint and addictive area of Spain that we have fallen in love with.

I recommend this little Garden Apartment if you are looking for a sunny getaway with peace and quiet yet just enough bars and restaurants to have a typical Spanish evening

The Burriana Beach, Nerja's main beach is just a pleasant and quiet 5 minute stroll downhill from The Garden Apartment. The centre of Nerja is about 10 - 12 minutes walk or just a few minutes by car.

Travel:

45 Minutes from Malaga's international airport and 1.5 hours from Granada airport. A car is not essential here at The Garden Apartment unless any of our guests have mobility difficulties.

We can arrange for a taxi to meet arriving guests at Malaga Airport and return them at the end of their stay.

Booking Notes:

These Terms and Conditions in relation to the booking, payments and cancellations will be specified in the Booking Confirmation sent to each guest when booking.

Rentals are payable in full 7 weeks prior to booked arrival date at property. Cancellations up to 7 weeks prior to the booked arrival date will incur a cancellation charge of 25% of the total value of the booking. Cancellations between 7 weeks prior to the booked arrival date, and the actual booked arrival date will incur a cancellation charge of the entire value of the booking. You are advised to carry insurance to cover such an eventuality. Where cancelled dates are re-let the cancellation will qualify for 100% refund of payments made up to that date.

Payment can be made in either Pounds OR in Euros at the prevailing rate to the pound on the day payments are made.

Neither the owner of the property nor any of its agents will be responsible for any damage, loss injury or illness incurred or suffered by any client or guest or any other agent acting either in his own right or as intermediary, howsoever caused. You are strongly advised to carry adequate insurance cover against such risks in addition to the usual medical cover.

Bookings made less than 7 weeks prior to departure shall be deemed to exist and require payment in full.

25% deposit required at the time of booking with the balance payable 7 weeks prior to the booked arrival date.

Changeover Day: Saturday in high season. Other times by arrangement. Guests are free to arive and depart on any day within the booked period but no refunds or allowances can be made for unoccupied days.

Notes on prices:
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds. They are fully inclusive of electricity, gas, water, maintenance and all other utilities all year round.

Payment by bank transfer or cheque in either Pounds OR in Euros at the prevailing rate to the pound on the day payments are sent.

Credit card payments accepted in Euros only.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
