The house is well positioned for access to the local village, Aix en Province and others major Provencal towns, cities and beaches. This 18th century farmhouse is rich in character and charm and furnished to very high standards. Its thick walls and leafy surroundings enable it to keep fresh during the summer months, essential in the Provencal climate.

A magical place
It really is a magical place and only wish we could have stayed for a month. Fantastic grounds and views and a great pool at the centre of it all.
Highlights were trips to Avignon and several to Aix, but we also got to see Salon and the Aqueduct in a walk from the plateau. Followed by lunch on the plateau.

We really enjoyed our stay in this typically provencal house , huge pool with a diving board and a garden filled with olive trees and plenty of space for the kids to play. The location is perfect, shops within a minute of the house and great access for visiting

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this property. The house was perfect for our 2 families, lots of space for everyone ! , beautifully decorated. The swimming pool was amazing, set in a gorgeous large garden. We spent hours relaxing here, it was the perfect holiday...
Dream family holiday
Just back from a wonderful holiday in Provence ,our third time staying in this beautiful property .Everything was perfect as per usual , a real home from home .the huge pool and large grounds were perfect for the children and adults , everybody had their own space and could find peace and quite if necessary .They house is tastefully decorated and is laid out well for 2 families .We will be back next again hopefully .
A wonderfully comfortable and charming house set in gorgeous mature terraced gardens with a lovely large pool area. The garden was a total adventure playground for the children, with its different terraces, and was a real surprise. It is so private but has wonderful views to Ventabren village and the surrounding countryside. We planned on using the house mainly as a base for touring, but it was so comfortable and charming that we spent a lot of time there, relaxing in the garden and lazing around the pool. The terrace beside the house is perfect for dining and we sat there most nights, chatting late into the night while sipping the excellent local wine. The house is in a great location too, a short distance to the local towns and many restaurants. It made for one of the most enjoyable and relaxing holidays in years. Our family totally loved it !.

The house is in the picturesque hill top village of Ventabren. 2 minutes from the house you have a local supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, and tobacconist, where you can get everything for a stress free holiday. 12 km away you have Aix en Provence, a charming, lively Provencal town with its daily markets, restaurants and shops. You have a choice of many beaches about half an hour away, with the cities of Marseille, Arles, Nimes, Avignon, the Luberon National park, with its beautiful villages and countryside within an hours drive. The international airport of Marseille and the new TGV station are about 20 minutes drive away.

Booking Notes: To secure the property, a deposit of 30% is required, with the balance of payment to be paid 45 days before you arrive. Changeover Day: Changeover day is Saturday. Departure time is 10am and arrival time is 4pm. Notes on prices: Payment is only accepted in Euros or Sterling (conversion to be confirmed in advance with the owner). Security deposit is payable on arrival and will be refunded in full, less the cost of any damages or breakages. Prices may vary, please contact for more information. Cancellation charges will be levied as follows: 10% of total price if cancellation is made 90 days or more prior to the beginning of the letting period; 50% of total price if cancellation is made between 90 and 60 days prior to the beginning of the letting period; full amount if cancellation is made less than 60 days prior to the beginning of the letting period. Cancellations must be made in writing and will be calculated from the date of receipt. Should the house be re-let, there will be a refund of the total amount less 10%
