This is a large comfortable property, near the sea. It is ideal for family holidays with beautiful walks nearby. The Cornish coastline in stunning and there are many pleasant pubs nearby too. Unusually too it has a sunny courtyard perfect for pre-dinner drinks on summer evenings.
The sea is just a stroll away, as are pubs. A local shop is conveniently located 100 yards away.
During our recent visit to the Rame peninsular, which is ideal for coastal walks,we stayed at Jackdaw Cottage in Kingsand. The cottage has a small private enclosed patio/terrace and is a homely place to stay, with it`s open fire in the spacious lounge, and is ideal for couples or families. This clean, comfortable three storey house is very convenient for the sea and is a short walk to any of the four pubs in the area,The Cross Keys being the best for food,in our opinion. We had a very enjoyable stay here, and will certainly return to this totally unspoilt part of Cornwall, and stay at Jackdaw Cottage again.
We had a lovely stay at this cottage which was roomy and very comfortable. It has a lovely lounge with open fire and is in a great location in the heart of Kingsand. The beach, pub, local shop are all just a short walk away. Would definitely recommend!
Beautifully clean, larger than imagined, a home from home, minutes from the beach and roof top sea views from the upper landing window and master bedroom. Would recommend but only reluctantly as it is our new secret holiday cottage. Welcome most warm from home owner. Weather inclement meant good excuse to relax in front of log fire in light airy sitting room. Boys loved rock pool fishing. Coastal path a stones throw. Drinks in the Devonport pub or leaning against railings just outside with glass in hand overlooking the sea was dreamy. We went to a party in Plymouth and then trundled happily back, same night. Kingsand is gem and we have going there for years.
We have enjoyed our holidays in Kindsand. The house is very cosy and confortable.Pour des vacances reposantes et en famille c'était parfait dans un petit village sympathique au bord de l'océan.
A refaire sans hésitation

This was our first stay in Jackdaw Cottage although we have been to Kingsand many times, as it is a relaxed village with very friendly locals, splendid beaches and many walks where you have a high chance of seeing the wild deer. At night the many local Pubs provide good food & beverage.
The cottage is ideally situated a minute's walk from the beach and there is a store just up the road. It is equipped with everything a family could need including games, books, towels.
In our case it was an extended family holiday -Granny & Gramps, two daughters a partner plus two Grand kids - the bedroom downstairs ideal for the oldies and large dining room to accommodate us all. Plus a secluded patio area at the rear for an occasional peaceful escape!
You truly cannot ask for more, Plus it's amazing value even during school holiday periods.
