Why Deborah Field chose L'Alfàs del Pi
Been holidaying in Albir for over 25 years and decided to buy an apartment over there. Font rotja is a lovely family apartment complex and, suited us well. Albir is a lovely place with plenty to see and do and, if you like a little more night life some nights then Benidorm is right on the door step. We were fed up of booking places and turning up with no drawers, storage and very basic fitted out properties so we made sure the apartment fulfills all a family could possible need. The children are now grown up but still love going to the apartment with their own families and partners and making new memories.
What makes this Apartment unique
Even though the apartment is only 1 bedroom it easily has enough room for a family of 5. It is welcoming and comfortable, light and airy with lovely views over the pool area or mountainous landscapes in the distance. Once there, that feeling of 'home from home' will be become natural and allows for immediate relaxation due to the apartment amenities and ideal location. Being a privately owned and quiet complex, Font Rotja boasts a traditional feel with a modern twist with its white artistic shaped apartment blocks. Its location is central for those who want both a peaceful break in or around Albir or to wander to bustling Benidorm or lovely Altea.

APARTMENT IN FONT ROTJA COMPLEX, ALBIR
We have just spent 10 days at this apartment. The apartment was ideal for us with air conditioning and English TV (I know, that's sad!! but we like our telly). Nice king size bed, lots of storage space and useful double sinks in bathroom.
Pool area was lovely and was spotlessly clean.
We were within walking distance to good bars/restaurants/shops and supermarkets. Dubliner Irish Bar serves a lovely Sunday dinner!!
My husband loves Benidorm and this was easily accessible by bus at the end of the road.
Should we visit this area again we will definitely book this apartment and I will recommend to any friends.

Wonderful winter break.
This is the third time that we have stayed in Font Rotja Apartments.Deborahs apartment has a wonderful position,top floor south facing with east facing windows.Consequently the apartment is bright and airy and even more so when the sun is shining.We stayed for 14 weeks,the apartment was as advertised.The bonus was the wifi recently installed and fast enough for two devices to be used at the same time.Situated minutes from two major supermarkets,bars and restaurants abound and only 10 minutes flat walk to the beach.Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friendsand family. Have just spent 3 weeks at this apartment in Albir. Lovely apartment and complex. Pool was wonderful, clean and a very good size. Complex was very secure and the grounds were immaculate. Great place for couples or families. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to friends & family. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing break.

Ideal holiday apartment in Albir
It feels like a home abroad with all the facilities anyone could expect to find. We stayed in the apartment last year and 12 months on it was just as welcoming, everything clean and well maintained, a credit to the owner.The pool area is ideal for sun bathing with a good size pool, a children's paddling pool and is kept very clean. Ramon, who looks after the complex, is very helpful, speaks good English and is always around making sure that grounds are neat and tidy and free from litter. We have recommended this property to friends and they too have been very pleased with the accommodation

We had a good time at this apartment.it is in a quiet part of Albir but with plenty of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance.the complex was very clean and quiet with plenty of sunbathing space and a nice pool.the apartment has everything required and is in an ideal spot on the complex.Albir itself is a lovely resort and if you want the thrills of benidorm it is an easy bus or taxi ride away
A relaxing place to go to
This lovely apartment is located in a very pleasant complex just a short walk into Albir and the beach area. It is close to a range of shops, bars and restaurants. The bus stop (Number 10) for Benidorm or Altea is just a short stroll from the apartment. The apartment itself was very well presented, clean and bright. The balcony overlooks the pool area. The apartment was equipped with everything needed for a relaxing, trouble-free holiday. Whilst it wasn't needed, the air con/heating was a bonus, as was the availability of all UK TV channels. The owner provided an exceptional service throughout, making certain everything went smoothly and without any problems. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

The beach is approx. a 10 - 15 min pleasant walk away, through the many shops restaurants and bars of main central Albir. The predominately pebble beach is very clean with sunbeds (6 euro per day) and pedaloes (15 euro per hour) for hire. There is a beautiful flat promenade, perfect for evening strolls, lined with an array of cosmopolitan restaurants and bars which stretches for approx 1/2 mile to the next resort of picturesque Altea and its beautiful marina.
The nearest airport is Alicante which is approx 45 mins away. Car hire, Bus and Taxis to the resort are available however no car is necessary whilst in resort, though if you intend to do lots of sightseeing a car would be an advantage.
We can also advise you of a resort hopper service from the airport to Albir resort which charges approx 10 euros return per person.
Bustling Benidorm is approximately a 15 minute bus or taxi ride away at a small cost.
Altea, with a beautiful marina and picturesque old town is approx 10 mins away by bus or taxi, but is a lovely pleasant walk from Albir along the promenade, taking approximately 40 minutes.
There is a train station in Altea approx 10 mins car journey away, which has trains to Calpe, Denia, Javea etc.
Guadalest is a lovely moorish mountain village approx 30 mins away by car and is a must for all tourists.
Local Albir has every amenity including supermarkets, banks and shops, bars and restaurants catering for all nationalities as well as traditional Spanish food. Every week you will encounter the huge tourist market where all your holiday mementos can be bought, from leather bags to flamenco dresses. A must for all visitors.
Further afield, the former fishing village of Altea, now famous for its blue roofed church and quaint cobbled streets and posh market stall 'Plaza', lined with beautiful restaurants, is within walking distance. A definite for a romantic occasion.
Terra Mitica, the famous Costa Blanca theme park is only a 25 minute bus or taxi ride away, where you can discover the hidden wonders of the Mediterranean shores. Egypt, Greece, Rome and The Islands. Thousands of years converted into moments of fun, emotion and adrenalin on various exhilarating rides.
Terra Natura, a new-generation 320,000 square metre wildlife park allowing you to get really close to the animals in a natural habitat is a mere 25 minute bus or taxi ride away. A great place to experience that something a little different.
Benidorm with its beautiful long promenades and blue flag sandy beaches, its bustling day and nightlife, its huge variety of bars and restaurants and lovely old town and church area, is a need to be experienced place no more than 15 minutes ride away.
Aqualandia in Benidorm, 15 minutes away by bus or taxi, boasting to be one of the largest water parks in the world and ranked among those which offer the most attractions with a great range of water rides, splash pools and other attractions. Here you will find there’s something for everyone to enjoy a fun day out.
Visit fabulous Guadalest. 25 km from Altea and occupying one of the most stunning positions in Spain, this small village is precariously perched on the pinnacle of a granite mountain, giving fabulous views across the valley carved out by the River from which the village takes its name.
