It is as described online. Very nice, clean and modern. Quiet with a nice garden and friendly turtle. The owner is very attentive and enthusiastic.
4 of us stayed in this studio apt--3 adults, 1 child. We had plenty of space, and everyone had a very comfortable bed. The studio is very clean, and has everything you need--refrigerator, stove, amazing shower, wifi, etc. There is a lovely garden in the back that is very peaceful. The studio is located in a very quiet and artsy part of Brussels--we loved it! Can't say enough great things about this property! The owner is a delight as well, and will help you with anything you need
Three of us (3 adults) stayed in the apartment for 1 week. We LOVED it here. The location was EXCELLENT and the unit (a very LARGE studio) was very clean, spacious and had very comfortable beds. The studio itself, had a good layout making it easy for all to move around and still provide lots of individual space.
The kitchen was equipped with a good supply of dishes, cups, glasses, cutlery and pots including a very large pot that we used on multiple nights to make mussels. (It happened to be mussel season and the local Carrefour carried them, as well as spice packages (for mussels), wine and bread. How great is that?!!)
The WIFI worked well (and is secure).
While I am really slow/late to write this review, I still think back to our time here with very happy memories. The unit is lovely and spacious and the owner (Voebe) is very helpful and friendly. She also lives just a 5 minute walk away and so knows the area well and is a short walk away from helping you, should you need anything. (Everything we needed was there including a notebook with local information on restaurants, grocery stores and of course apartment specific details.)
As already mentioned by others, the tram to the historic center of town, is a 5 minute walk away and runs quite often.
The neighbourhood is one in which locals live and shop. So you are immersed in a lovely neighbourhood with locals. It’s very quiet at night (when one wants to sleep) and very safe.
We used this unit as a base to explore Brussels and a couple of the other neighbouring cities (on day-trips). We found this ideal.
I highly recommend the unit and would gladly stay there again.
It is a very cozy studio and even very big in order to host an entire Family like mine (5 of us). The owner is so kind and always available. The area is very nice with shops, caffe and close to the city center. Good value for Money!
Myself and five friends stayed in this little gem for a week and we were not at all disappointed! Upon arrival, we were greeted to a very warm welcome from Marjolin, who gave us a tour of the studio, answered all our questions, and introduced us to Constance, the friendly resident tortoise living in the garden! We were also delighted to discover the Rodenbach beer that had been left for us in the fridge!
The apartment itself was surprisingly spacious, with a lovely brightness to it from the skylight windows (which could conveniently be closed at night.) The beds (2 singles, 2 sofa-beds and 1 double) were comfortable and very welcoming after being out and about all day! The kitchenette, which although small, had no lack of space to cook a decent meal, as we indeed did a number of nights, and the local shops provided a great range of products to facilitate this (as well as some very reasonably priced bottles of wine!) The highlight of the bathroom was definitely the shower, which certainly had some power to it (unlike those weak ones you often seem to find in hotels these days), as well as enough hot water for five showers each morning.
The studio is well-situated for exploring the wealth of attractions that Brussels has to offer, with a metro station just round the corner, and a 3-day unlimited transport ticket costing around €17 (which seemed great value!). Art galleries, museums, palaces, parks, monuments, and the 'Grand Place' are just a selection of things within easy reach. The 'Grand Place' was alive with the famous Brussels Beer Festival when we were there too which was a lovely surprise.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Rodenbach Studio, and would love to stay here again. Many Thanks to Marjolin!
The Rodenbachstudio is located in the peaceful Molière- neighbourhood with lots of interesting Art-Nouveau architecture.
