About Nigel Warrilow
My name is Nigel Warrilow and I am the owner of this wonderful apartment in Mistle Cove, Barbados. I first came to Barbados on holiday as a child and fell in love with the island. It has been a dream fulfilled to own a property here. The apartment is bright and spacious with stylish, modern furniture. It is professionally managed and I have an excellent housekeeper. Externally the property, gardens and pool are well maintained by the property managers, gardeners and specialist contractors. I have spent many wonderful holidays here with family and friends enjoying the warm clear water, stunning evening sunsets and the occasional sighting of a turtle laying her eggs on Mistle Cove beach and baby turtles hatching. Over the years I have gathered lots of local knowledge regarding the best places to eat, visit, shop, cycle, kayak and kitesurf, which I am always happy to share with my guests! On arrival you will be met and greeted by my apartment manager for a full introduction to the apartment, and you will receive a handy welcome pack of local groceries to get you started. I want all my guests to have the same enjoyment here at Mistle Cove that I also have. It truly is a little taste of paradise.

The location is great! It is hard to adequately describe in words or photos just how wonderful the view is from the patio. The apartment is spacious, light and breezy and well maintained. The master bedroom is particularly special as it has great views directly in to the garden the sea and patio doors opening on to the balcony.

Absolutely Stunning Apartment, Beautifully Furnished, Has everything you need
We are a family of 4, two kids ages 11 and 13, and stayed at this stunning apartment for two weeks and it’s absolutely beautiful, has the most amazing view and was so well furnished and stocked with everything you can possibly need, including beach towels.The location is amazing, we saw turtles on the beach at night here and it’s right next to lots of lovely restaurants. Dover beach is next door where the kids had surfing and sailing lessons and rented boogie boards from Charles Watersports. Harlequin was our favourite restaurant locally and the Sunday buffet lunch at the Atlantis was amazing. We took lots of the ZR minivan buses which were great for getting around and hired a car for our second week. We spent a day on Tiamii Catamaran cruises, fishing with Bluefin, and the kids loved Alleynes Bay, Carlisle Bay for seeing the turtles and Mullins Beach was fun with the water inflatables where they made lots of friends! Well kept and equipped, safe and accessible
We've stayed at apartment 101 five times now so that speaks for itself.
LOCATION. It's perfect for the restaurants and bars on the Gap, yet noise is never an issue. Everything is right on your doorstep and the convenience store is next door. Just walk through the Divi hotel and you can get a bus to Bridgetown or Oistins. It's a safe area.
BEACH. Again, it's fabulous for Dover Beach, a beautiful wide sandy beach within minutes walk and lots of shade under the trees if you want it. There are many other beaches just a short drive or bus ride away.
APARTMENT. Excellent in every respect; the owners have thought of absolutely everything even a substantial first aid box and a sewing box. No expense is spared for the comfort of guests-a well equipped kitchen, good appliances, laundry room, and just about everything else you could need. It is extremely spacious and comfortable for four adults and also very secure. Very clean, well furnished and comfortable with very comfortable beds too which is a very important issue to consider. The patio is stunning as, in my opinion, it occupies the best position of all the apartments at Mistle Cove as its directly in front is the small sandy cove which feels like your very own private beach. I could sit there for hours just watching and listening to the waves. It is exactly as the photos but better. It is managed very well with lovely ground staff and a very good cleaning service.
I could go on forever but I think I've covered the main points. I prefer it to the West coast because you can get out and about to different bars and restaurants without driving. There is a good range of restaurants and you must also try to street vendors for some great local inexpensive food, perfect if you want a takeaway one night!
I can safely say 101 will not disappoint.
Small secluded sandy beach with direct access from the garden. Frequented by turtles from June to November. Adjacent to Mistle Cove, just a short stroll along the Gap, is the 600 metre long Dover Beach, with safe bathing for all ages.
Mistle Cove is 15 minute taxi ride from airport. A number of airlines fly daily to Barbados - midweek flights are often cheaper and less crowded. Numerous car hire companies available on the island.
Approximately 15 minutes by taxi from airport. Approximately 4 miles to the capital, Bridgetown for Duty Free shopping.
Excellent bus service to all parts of the island.
Convenience store open 8am until 10pm next door. Internet cafe opposite. Supermarket and bank nearby. Superb choice of restaurants all within short walking distance.
