The apartment is built in the Spanish style and is situated in the much sought after complex of Verano Azul. The urbanization has two swimming pools and well kept gardens. Having one of the best positions in the complex,the property sleeps 2 to 4 persons, has one spacious bedroom with twin beds, a living room/dining room with double sofa bed, a separate well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room opens on to a south facing terrace with views of the sea and small pool. A spiral staircase takes you to the spacious, private rooftop terrace with lovely sea and mountain views. This area is perfect for sunbathing as it gets sun all day. The complex is about a 15 minute walk to the town centre.

About Julie Robinson
We fell in love with Nerja on our first visit in 1993 and bought the apartment in 2003. Last year, 2017, we moved to the area permanently and lived in the apartment for a while. We now live in nearby Frigiliana.

Why Julie Robinson chose Nerja
We fell in love with Nerja when we first visited in 1993 and decided to look for an apartment to buy on our third visit. We like the fact that, although it is a tourist resort, it is still very Spanish, and we mingle with the locals. There are many lovely restaurants with almost every cuisine catered for, along with many Spanish traditional restaurants and tapas bars. There are many quaint villages and towns within easy driving distance, or a good bus service for those not wishing to hire a car. There is a good motorway link from Malaga airport.
What makes this Apartment unique
We liked the Verano Azul complex because it is quiet, with no noisy bars on site, and has lovely gardens. The pools do not get crowded either. The apartment also appealed to us as it has sea and mountain views.

Very nice apartment in a great location. Pleasant walk to Burriana beach and the old town.
From the roof terrace the views of the mountain and the sea are fantastic. But the best feature is the terrace off the lounge overlooking the pool. It gets the sun from early morning and the pool is rarely busy. The small complex is very quite and well maintained.
Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent comfortable accommodation
Good location, slightly away from main resort. Fantastic roof top terrace. Accommodation was fully equipped. A lovely surprise was the groceries that were left to start us off. Thank you.

My husband and myself had a lovely week in Nerja, our first visit here. The property was a 15/20 mins stroll to the main square (Balcon De Europa) no problem for us (both of us in our 60's). Beautiful Cafe's/Restaurants for lunches/dinners , great places for Tapas. The weather was gorgeous (in the early 20 degrees for the whole week- just very comfortable) . We visited the beautiful mountainside village of Frigiliana (only 1 Euro by local bus )well worth a visit. We did'nt get to go to see the famous Caves but hopefully on our next visit (we definitely will be returning). It was a very late holiday booking and it was seamless due to Julie's prompt and efficient response regarding Apartment/Key handover, so overall a great week and thanks again to Julie
Cozy appartment with big private rooftop terrace
Ten minutes walk from Burriana Beach, ten minutes walk from Nerja Centre. Cozy clean first floor apartment, with private balcony and big roofterrace with seaview. One of the two swimmingpools of the complex is only 15 seconds away. Relaxed and quiet (since Nerja in high season gets a bit crowded) and still enough facilities (supermarket, restaurant, GREAT bakery) around the corner.
If there are any problems: Julie will answer your questions through email straightaway! Had some problems with the Spanish electricity but that was also immediately resolved. Had a great stay!

Appartement très propre, bien équipé et très bien situé du centre ville de Nerja. On peut aller à la plage à pied ce qui est un plus. Il y a 2 piscines très bien entretenues ce qui est appréciable avec la chaleur .
La terrasse est un atout majeur de cette location avec vue sur la mer et les montagnes, la nuit c'est fabuleux de s'y installer.
Un très bon rapport qualité prix pour cette location.
Nerja est une très belle ville et nous la recommandons vivement aux familles car elle est très calme et le temps est idéal.

Burriana Beach is a 10 minute walk. This is the main, and largest, beach in Nerja, with adjacent restaurants. There are also other smaller beaches within easy walking distance.
50 kms from Malaga airport, about 45 minutes by car. Taxi can be arranged at a cost of €65 each way. Car not essential. Good local bus service to neighbouring towns and attractions, as well as destinations further afield, such as Malaga, Granada and Seville. Recommend train from Malaga airport into Malaga, then bus to Nerja, total cost about 7 euros each way.
Frigiliana 6 kms, Maro 4 kms, Nerja caves 4 kms.
Balcon de Europa about 15 minutes walk.
There are 4 supermarkets close to the complex and a bakery across the road. Plenty of bars and good restaurants within easy walking distance. Numerous banks with ATM's in the town centre. Good bus service to neighbouring towns and attractions.
