Villa located between Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Almancil, Central Algarve - Peaceful Location, 5 Minute Drive To The Beach, Close To All Amenities, Family Friendly

A newly refurbished family villa ideally located in the middle of the Golden Triangle. Our villa is positioned in a quiet area between Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Almancil. With a new kitchen, bathrooms, living areas and air-conditioned bedrooms it is perfectly self-contained for those who just want to lounge by the private pool all day and relax with a BBQ in the evening. For those who want to be a little more active it is conveniently located a few minutes away from local beaches, golf courses, tennis courts, water parks, restaurants and the amenities of Almancil. There is a newly designed spacious garden including a lawn play area, which is ideal for young children. A wide range of toys for the youngsters are also included. There are three bedrooms with twin beds and large fitted wardrobes, sleeping six people. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and the other with a wet room. There is a private pool, patio and traditional Portuguese brick BBQ area. Hire includes bath and beach towels, hair dryers, free wifi, and satellite TV (NB the satellite in this area changes a lot, so we're unable to guarantee what channels will be available). A cot, high chair and stair gates are also available.

What a fantastic location, quiet yet close to the beach and all the local amenities, the children loved it.



The new owners have done a wonderful job of refurbishing this villa. It is really smart and modern now.

Location

Coast/Beach:

A few beaches are 3km from the villa, where you will find a number of restaurants and beach bars.

Travel:

Faro airport is only a 20 minutes drive from the Villa. Since the new motorway opened from Lisbon it is possible to drive from Lisbon in under 3 hours.

Distances:

Almancil is 3 km away offering a variety of shops, restaurants and bars, bakers and even the English butcher, there are a variety of supermarkets to choose from to cater for all tastes, post office, police station, several banks and a doctors surgery. Val do Lobo and the luxurious resort of Quinta do Lago (where footballers and TV stars have homes) are each 2km away. Both have beaches, banks, shops and restaurants. The old market town of Loule is 10km away.

Further Details:

There are a large number of restaurants within a 3km radius, varying from simple Portuguese restaurants to Michelin starred establishments and everything inbetween.

All of the bedrooms are designed for flexibility so that the beds can be pushed together to form a double bed easily.

Notes on accommodation: A cot, high chair and stair gates are all available, free of charge, for those who require them. Beach towels are included, so guests don't need to waste valuable luggage allowance. Outside: The villa is set in a 1500 sq.m. garden with rockeries, Oleanders, Bougainvillea, Mimosa and some pine, fig and fruit trees. A wall of flowers surrounds the private tiled swimming pool (10 x 5 m). There is a newly laid lawn. There is a large barbecue built into the wall and a large sun patio with sun loungers, table and chairs. The shady pergola has a large tiled table and seating area which is ideal for eating afresco on a warm summers evening. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A maid visits once per week to clean and make beds. There is a good supply of bed linen and towels. We include beach and bath towels for guests to use. Other: The dining area is situated next to the kitchen and has a table suitable for 6 people. There is a patio door leading outside, where meals can also be eaten. This area is shaded from the sun.

Excellent stay at Casa Helandria

Stayed at this villa for 10 days. Lovely two storey building in super condition. Ground floor had well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. First floor consists of master bedroom with ensuite and lounge with large balcony overlooking pool. The pool area is a very good space and again well equipped. Gardens surround the villa including a beautiful, covered seating area which is accessed by a short concrete path from the pool area. Inside front gate has stoned area along with a covered car port. Excellent villa for a quiet, relaxing holiday. 20 mins from Faro airport. Car is probably essential but taxis are easily available. Lots of restaurants within 10 mins drive. Superb stay in a superb property.

Ideally situated, clean, well equiped and very comfortable.

We have been to this area several times but Casa Helandria is our new favourite villa. Close to the airport and ideally situated for supermarkets, beach, restaurants golf etc. The villa had everything we required and we settled in very easily. We found the pool area and gardens well kept and found lots of areas to sunbathe or cool off in the shade. We very rarely left the poolside as the villa was quiet and peaceful and we found it very easy to relax there. Andy was excellent to deal with and all communication was prompt and helpful.

We will be back.

Incredible villa in a great location.

We had a wonderful time at Andy and Helen's villa. The villa and pool were beautifully presented and spotless. All facilities and amenites worked perfectly. The locaion was fantastic with multiple supermarkets, restaurants and sandy beaches within 10 minutes drive. Would love to return!

Heaven!

This was our second visit to Casa Helandria - and it was even better 2nd time around. For those of us that like spending time in / around the pool, this villa is perfect, the outdoor area is exceptional, beautifully established and well maintained with lots of space for sunbathing. The villa itself is very well equipped and the BBQ got quite a lot of use while we were there too.

The location was simply perfect - halfway between Vale do Lobo and La Quinta with lots of fab restaurants and activities in easy reach.

We absolutely loved it and there is no doubt we will have a 3rd stay at some point in the future!

Family Holiday

We travelled as a family of 6, great location with the beach only 5 minutes by car. The kids loved the pool. Many a day spent round the pool in the relaxing surroundings followed by bbqs. The villa is not on a large complex but close to all the facilities. One of the best equipped villas we have stayed in offering beach towels and hair dryers which saved on our luggage allowance. The air con was a god send in the heat. The kids had plenty of toys and even bucket and spades to take to the beach. Plenty of restaurants to choose from our favourites being (Piri Piri Almancil and Retiro Dos Indios).

Wonderful villa

We enjoyed a fantastic fortnight staying at Casa Helandria. We have stayed in the area on three previous occasions and this villa is the best we have stayed in. The description is very accurate and we found the place spotlessly clean and incredibly well equipped. Not only do you get beach towels provided but so much more. Toys for the garden, inflatables and toys for the pool, cool bags and ice packs, parasols, games, books and a really well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. You can tell the owner's stay in the property as it is like a home from home. The maid service was great and the pool cleaners and gardeners were unobtrusive.

The villa is very well located, close to Almancil for the supermarket (we'd recommend Pingo doce) and also only 10 minutes from the local beach. It is also lovely and quiet, not really overlooked at all in the garden so we could really relax especially around the wonderful bbq located right next to the pool area.

We found the booking process really easy and communication with one of the owners, Andy, to be prompt and helpful. We also received our deposit back very swiftly upon our return.

We love the Algarve and enjoyed visiting Silves, including a lovely wine tasting at Quinta de Francis, the Saturday market in Loulé, Tavira and of course Zoo Marine which both my children and my parents enjoyed greatly. If you're a scuba diver I'd also recommend Indigo Divers in Albufeira who I've dived with for travel last few holidays and found to be really professional and helpful.

Overall I would highly recommend Casa Helandria if you're looking for a relaxing break in a wonderful climate, great location and we'll equipped villa.

A 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. The remaining 80% must be paid 8 weeks before departure. Bookings can be secured either by telephone or by email. Changeover days are flexible but not Sundays. We request that people arrive after 4.00 pm and vacate by 11:00am.
