Spacious, traditional Provencal part villa set in peaceful surroundings and enjoying superb views of the Esterel Massif National Forest. The villa has a large heated pool, poolside BBQ and bar area and a choice of sunny or shaded eating areas. The large living/dining area has a high beamed ceiling and staircase to upper mezzanine, which houses the library. A provencal style kitchen has easy access to the pool terrace for outside dining. Two of the bedrooms opening onto the pool terrace, the third has a large and private balcony overlooking the garden and mountains and all three have en-suite facilities.

For the active: The Villa is situated in the Esterel hills, which border the coast between Mandelieu/La Napoule and Frejus/St Raphael. For walkers and mountain bikers, there are numerous trails across the hills affording splendid views of the coast as you go. Lake St Cassien is only ten minutes drive from the villa and offers a full range of water sports with equipment available for rental and pleasant picnic spots and restaurants on the shore. There are several reasonably priced golf courses within thirty minutes drive and a tennis club in the village. Horse riding is also possible close by.

For the culture vultures: The medieval villages of Fayence, Montauroux and Callian are within half an hour's drive and a stroll round the narrow streets and a visit to the colourful local market makes for a pleasant excursion. Cannes is home to various festivals and events and has a range of art galleries, museums and one of the cinemas shows English speaking films. The ancient port of Frejus has a famous aqueduct and Roman amphitheatre

For the explorers: Take the autoroute to St Tropez or Monte Carlo and sample the glamorous side of the Cote D'Azure or for spectacular scenery, try the Gorge du Verdon and the historic sites of Avignon and Les Beaux. Monaco, Menton and the Italian border are less than an hour away with duty-free prices on spirits and wine.

Beautiful villa in a spectacular location

This villa has it all - great facilities and stunning location. Near enough to a small village for all your everyday needs but also only a short drive to either the beautiful lake or the famous coastline. Jo, the host, is there for all you need, be it a top tip on where to go or even to help arrange a chef or babysitting. Great place!

Fantastic family villa with great facilities.

A wonderful family holiday in a large villa with a lovely pool. Located in a quiet, rural area but close to a village for everyday needs. Several local restaurants worth visiting.are nearby. The busy South coast is a short drive away so an ideal location for our family to enjoy both peace and quiet but close to the coast, best of both worlds! The owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We shall be back. Highest recommendation - Thank you!
