The house is built in a classical Spanish style with white walls and black iron grills for the windows, beautiful wooden windows / shutters and roof beams and is tiled throughout. It is laid out on two floors. Downstairs there is a living / dining room, new kitchen with dishwasher, guest WC / shower and rear utility area / courtyard. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one with a small balcony and the other a terrace. From the bedrooms there are lovely views of mount Montgo and the communal gardens. The property benefits from air-conditioning and heating. The house is set in marvelous grounds stocked with bougainvillea and olive trees and with a fabulous communal swimming pool which cascades over 5 levels for the exclusive use of the occupants of the apartments and town houses. On site and within walking distance there is a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, horse riding and tennis courts. The beaches and restaurants at Denia and Javea are within easy reach by car
Getting there: The house can be reached easily from junction 62 of the A7 motorway which runs north-south along Spain's Mediterranean coast. The most convenient airports are Valencia and Alicante which are less than one hour drive. From the UK low cost fares can be obtained by Easy jet and British Airways. It is also possible to drive from Barcelona airport(5 hours). It is a 9 hour drive from Santander for those wishing to take a Ferry from Plymouth with Brittany Ferries. If you prefer to drive from the UK then it takes 2 or 3 days from Calais depending on how fast you drive and how much of France you want to see en route!
We ad a lovely week in La Sella. The villa had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We did not sample the pool as I am afraid the weather was not great but they look lovely.
Hope to revisit when the weather is warmer.

Plus points….well equipped kitchen with dishwasher washing machine etc.A/C in the living room,nice location and surroundings,lovely pool.
Negative points…You only find out,after you have paid,that the Keys are to be collected from an agents office(a black box on the wall,few miles away),and when you arrive at the apartment,there are no instructions about returning the keys,so you have to email or phone the owners,and are told to return the keys back to the black box on the wall at the agent’s office.There is no local info book , info about the resort or local area,contact info etc in the apartment. We had a problem with the kitchen sink, when we arrived,we found out that it leaked all over the floor,so you couldn’t use the sink or the dishwasher,,had to email the owners, took over 48hrs.for someone to come round and sort it !!!
There is a small CRT TV in the living room, it had GREEN picture, complained to the owners, no action was taken? It gets very hot in the upstairs bedrooms, but there are no fans, ceiling or otherwise.
Downstairs toilet has no toilet roll holder, shower cubicle has no hooks, or shelves, so you end up holding the shower gel/soap in your hands! Beware of the sticky front door lock, you could end up breaking the key in it. Swimming pool is big and nice, but has NO sun loungers,you have to carry sun loungers from your apartment and then carry them back as well,this involves lugging them across lawn and up and down some steps.
Very good vacation in the Sella area. The home was confortable, well equipted (the dishwasher start to be tired) and clean.
The owner replies every two day : don't worry!
Pasamos las Navidades en esta casa y aunque la estación del año no parecía la más adecuada todo fue genial. La situación es perfecta para conocer la zona, la urbanización tranquila y cuidada ( aunque no sé cómo será en temporada alta) y la casa equipada con todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta. Fue una decisión de última hora, pero aún así el trato con el propietario y el sistema de recogida de llaves fue sencillo y eficiente.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Sella. L'appartement est confortable, bien équipé et très calme. Quant à la piscine, elle est vraiment magnifique!! pour le plus grand bonheur des enfants mais aussi des parents.
Les deux ports (Javea et Denia) sont tous proches avec une ambiance espagnole très agréable.
Nous avons pu apprécier, après quelques journées de consacrées aux visites, de nous reposer dans ce lieu très agréable, et prendre un café le soir au calme sur la terrasse.
