HURRICANE UPDATE: Power, water, and internet have been restored to our area, and our homes did not sustain any significant damage.
Experience an authentic Puerto Rican vacation away from the typical tourist areas! BEACH BLISS is uniquely situated on a beautiful bay protected by a coral reef, and our swimmable beach is a great place to relax. Part of the beautiful 15-acre Casa Wurster estate, Beach Bliss is one of three lovely custom homes that we have made available to renters through HomeAway and VRBO.
As a guest at one of our Casa Wurster vacation homes, your vacation at Beach Bliss will be an experience you will enjoy and remember for years to come. We offer our Beach Bliss guests access to our brand new heated swimming pool across the street at Casa Wurster, as well as hiking on the 15-acre hillside of our beautiful property where you can enjoy stunning views and even catch a glimpse of some colorful island iguanas in their natural habitat. If you like to exercise, there's plenty of space to get out and go for a walk or run within within our gated property. You will love being able to relax in the privacy of your own home while having the option to enjoy all that the Casa Wurster property offers. In the unlikely event of a power outage, all of our homes are equipped with automatic backup generators. You are in good hands while staying at a Casa Wurster vacation home!
About BEACH BLISS: This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs, with beautiful terrazzo floors. Vaulted ceilings add to the charm and openness of the living room and kitchen. A third private bedroom is located off the covered lower patio, as is the second full bath, separate from the rest of the home. For comfortable sleeping, each bedroom has its own individually controlled air conditioning unit and ceiling fan. The rest of the house remains pleasant with breezes off the Caribbean and ceiling fans. BE SURE TO VIEW OUR VIDEO TOUR at the end of the photos!
A day in paradise can be whatever you make it. In the morning, enjoy your coffee out on the balcony overlooking the Caribbean, or start your day with a hike. Swim at the beach or the pool, relax in the hammock, or explore the island. In the evening, watch the sunset as you grill on the BBQ or head down the street for some authentic Puerto Rican food. To help you relax on your vacation, we offer an optional grocery concierge service, as well as optional daily or mid-week housekeeping.
Casa Wurster vacation homes are unique in the fact that each home sits alone, so the houses can be rented individually or by one large group or family that wants to vacation together, yet have their own space and spread out among 2 or 3 houses. SEA BREEZE can be found at https://www.vrbo.com/991177, and SEA VIEW can be found at https://www.vrbo.com/989811.
We would love to have you stay with us! The views and the sunsets are incredible, and you’ll see that the natural beauty of our property combined with our 3 lovely rental homes makes Casa Wurster a hidden Puerto Rican gem!
If you would like to get out and explore the island, Hector, our Guest Coordinator, can assist you in arranging excursions to the rain forest, bio-luminescent bay, caves, a catamaran day trip, kayaking, jet-skiing, and more.
FUN THINGS TO SEE AND DO IN PUERTO RICO:
BIOLUMINESCENT BAY KAYAKING: Truly amazing if the weather and the moonlight are right. And great to do after the catamaran or rain forests trip, since you’ll be up near Fajardo already. Microorganisms called “dinoflagellates” glow when the water is stirred. You will kayak about 20 minutes through the mangrove trees to Laguna Aguas Prietas.
HIKING IN THE RAIN FOREST: El Yunque is a 29,000-acre National Park and rain forest. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a backpack with snacks, water, and possibly a rain jacket. IMPORTANT: You must enter from the north side of the island. The entrance from the south is closed.
CARABALI RAIN FOREST PARK: Located on the outskirts of the rain forest, they offer a fun 4 wheeler tour along with horseback riding.
CAMUY RIVER PARK CAVES: Great for all ages. A 300-acre park offering walking tours through this enormous cave. Wear good shoes, long pants, and a jacket. Open Wed – Sun: 8am – 5pm. Last tour is around 3:30 so get there by 3:00 to be sure you get tickets. IMPORTANT: During periods of excessive rain, the caves are not accessible. Call before you venture out to be sure they are open.
EXPLORE AND SHOP OLD SAN JUAN: Also visit one of the forts while there. El Morro is our favorite—truly amazing! Bring an umbrella and wear sunscreen—you’ll likely experience both intense sun and a popup shower.
And Hector, our Guest Coordinator, can also give you suggestions on nearby kayaking, jet skiing, etc.
