It was great
Loved our stay. Great view. Lovely pool. The Casita served us well for 2 people. Well equipped with toaster coffee maker microwave and stove. Near the beach and town square. The turtles were an added bonus. Would recommend to others. Only drawback was the steep hill to get to the place. Renting a golf cart helped with that
Loved this little oasis!
We loved our stay at Casitas del Mar. We stayed in unit #2 which has a small balcony off the back in addition to the patio area in front—perfect for relaxing out of the sun, and delightful for watching the sunrise and listening to the roosters crow in the morning. Relaxing on the front patio after a fun day in town was a dream. The music in town becomes a muted, beautiful soundtrack to your Sayulita vacation instead of the in-your-face rock jam it would be if you stayed in town. The small pool is perfect for cooling off in the heat of the day, and in the evening becomes a soothing water feature with shifting colors and a wall waterfall. Fall into the patio hammock, and delight in it all! Yes, the hill climb is a workout, but we didn't mind it at all. And the tortugas were one of our favorite parts of this vacation. All five came right up to our porch as we settled in! We stayed four nights in PV, two nights in La Cruz and three nights in Sayulita, and this spot was our absolute favorite. Take a tour with the great folks at Chica Loca, eat at Don Pedro's, and enjoy the many artisan shops. Sayulita has grown so much since we were last there, but it still has a really fun yet relaxing vibe. Finding this amazing home was icing on our vacation cake! Thank you, Greg, for an amazing stay.
Super cute, clean, charming. Loved the location!
Wonderful studio. Safe, clean, charming. If you have trouble walking up steep hills this may not be the perfect place for you. Personally I loved the walk and the view! Would def stay again.
Awesome three days in Sayulita!
We so enjoyed our time at Casa de Amor. Greg was a very attentive host and made sure we made it ok. The decor was charming and we so loved the turtles off of our patio to watch and amuse us. I loved hearing the roosters waking me and found the whole experience to be awesome!
Sayulita loved it
Greg place was as expected. The caretaker jose was very friendly and helpful. Did not meet Greg but all questions were answered promptly. Thank you. We will return
Great location within Sayulita
We had a wonderful time staying with Greg in Sayulita. The property is a less than 5-minute walk to the beach, center of town, cafes, and shopping. The room is clean and well appointed. And there was even a free bottle of wine upon arrival. To get a view of the ocean, you'll need to step out to the shared area outside the front door. And look for the resident tortugas. The small balcony off the back of the room offered a nice breeze and a pleasant view of the hills behind Sayulita. Two things to take into consideration with regards to the location; the hill has its pros and cons. First, it will somewhat diminish the sounds from discos and local parties on the weekends. However, if you have the balcony doors open, you'll definitely still be hearing the bass until the early A.M. For this reason, we were definitely glad we opted for Greg's place rather than something right downtown. Second, about 50 meters of the hill you'll have to walk down to town, but more importantly back up when you return, is VERY steep. I would guess maybe a 10-15 degree slope; maybe more. Older travelers, or those with young children, may want to inquire about this further. If that isn't an issue, Greg's place is a wonderful place from which to explore Sayulita, and a great value to boot.
