My husband Stephen and I ,Donna Jarett Nicholson welcome you to our vacation home --relax from the worries and stress of the world. Casa 43 is a home not just a vacation rental and has all of the amenities you would expect to have when you walk into your own house.
Enjoy the tranquility of our tropical villa located in Hermosa Palms on playa Hermosa - a private, upscale gated, 24 hour guarded, exclusive community - on Hermosa Beach. BEST LOCATION, close to the pool and beach. approx. 10 yards .This tropical villa has 2500 square feet of living space and features three bedrooms with a master ensuite, first floor patio with teak dining set and Costa Rican Leather rocking chairs, second floor covered terrace with chaise lounges and rocking chairs ,and a third floor covered terrace with hammocks to watch the surf or a private sunset.

Bedrooms include one king (pillow mattress) one queen (pillow mattress) and two full. ALL *** US mattresses***The large kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking and dining. We are constantly updating items in the kitchen from pots and pans to an ample supply of glass red and white wine glasses. We are hands on owners.
The house is wired throughout for wifi with fiber optics in the near future.

The crowning jewel of renting our house is Yonit's Tiki Bar. Our neighbor Yonit ,manages the swim up bar at the Beach Club. Delicious, fabulous, incredible food and drink all made with Yonit's special touch of love, Fish tacos are the best in the world. Then the cocktails.. lava flows, pineapple mojitos, and the list goes on and on.

Our home on Playa Hermosa is a world famous surfing break known for its consistent and excellent waves. Locals insist that Hermosa Beach has head high or better waves 340 days a year. At four miles long, it never gets crowded-better bring a back up board.

Enjoy walking the beach, watching pelicans skim the waves or maybe see a pod of whales surface. There is a variety of wildlife on Hermosa Palms from Scarlet macaws to possums and of course iguanas.

Enjoy the best of two worlds - your private beach at Hermosa Palms or take a 10 minute drive to Jaco where you can dine, shop, visit casinos, or just people watch. Jaco offers a variety of restaurants, ice cream shops, banking, night clubs, bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies, and of course gift shops.

A 20 minute ride north takes you to Los Suenos Marriott Resort which offers golf, dining, and a marina with charter vessels.

An hour south of Hermosa Palms will bring you to Manuel Antonio-a must see National Park for all visitors to Costa Rica.

Beautiful home!

What a lovely property on a great beach! The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. Having the pool just across the street was so handy. All we had to do was cross the street and we were at the pool and then the beach. And the swim up bar was a great place for food and drinks. I spent a bit of time in the rooftop hammocks watching the waves crash in.

Superlatives don’t do it justice

Staying at Donna’s house in the middle of beautiful Hermosa Palms was a memory we will all carry with us for the rest of our lives. From having a coffee in the morning while swinging in a hammock from the roof watching the crashing waves, to the 20 steps it takes to get to the ocean. There is nothing that I would change! Thanks for everything Donna...if you are reading this reviewing, I would certainly recommend staying here!

Rasmussen Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay in Hermosa Palms and especially enjoyed having such a beautiful home to return to each day from our activities in the area. The neighborhood is a wonderful oasis in the middle of Jaco and Manuel Antonio. My kids enjoyed surfing and we all enjoyed YoYo's Tiki Bar especially her fish tacos!

Awesome Place

Stayed here twice and will be back again someday. Perfect location within the Hermosa Palms community. The pool and clubhouse is just steps from the front door and the beautiful Playa Hermosa is just steps beyond that. Large comfortable house with all the amenities. This house is great for a boys surf trip, family or multiple family vacation or a ladies getaway. Five minute ride to the shops and restaurants of Jaco and a great location to make various day trips to other areas in CR. There was a nice older gentleman that came knocking on the door some evenings with fresh caught seafood that we cooked on the grill provided on the patio. This place has everything you could ask for....highly recommend it!
