Great location and condo!

  • 4 of 5

Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Great location on 4 OClock Run, except to get to a lift you have to unstrap completely and walk across the street to the Snowflake Lift. Condo itself was great for us, hot tubs and pool were great for the end of the day and the free shuttle was key!

Great place, great price, high cleaning fee and still expected to self-clean

  • 4 of 5

This place was a fabulous location and well laid out with all the necessities. Also clean and good service by the property managers, and a great base fee. My only complaint was that there was a very high cleaning fee (which I knew when booking and accepted), but then guests are also requested to clean up after themselves, take out the trash, run the dishwasher ... felt quite annoying. If the managers just adjust this setup (either lower the fee - preferred - or keep the fee but remove the list of requests for cleaning), I would happily give it 5 stars.

Not what I expected

  • 2 of 5

Kitchen was well stocked...that was a bonus. The heat was difficult to control and it was uncomfortably hot and dry. The hot water heater could only handle one shower at a time and completely ran out of hot water after just a 15 minute shower so it would take three hours for us to complete showers.

Owner's Response: Colorado in the winter time is very dry with average humidity levels 50% lower than east coast locations such as Atlanta. People get acclimated to this dry weather, but not typically in the course of a vacation. The condo has several humidifiers available for guests that can help with dry air. Every room in the condo has a working thermostat that controls an electric baseboard heating system. Additionally there is a thermostat associated with the fireplace which provides natural gas heat with the benefit of a glowing fire. Guests have full access to these thermostats, and every guest has individual preferences regarding temperature. We do provide all of our guests with our 24/7 phone number and respond to all guest calls as soon as we are notified. From what we can determine we were not called during this stay, but we do appreciate all feedback, as it helps us to improve our properties and our service.
