EagleLight Properties LLC was established in Ohio in 2015 while acquiring distressed townhouses and condominiums in the Dayton, Ohio area to rehab and rent (aka "flip & hold"). We provide regular maintenance and improvements to our properties and are blessed to enjoy all our original tenants! I grew up just north of Detroit, was educated in Colorado (courtesy of the USAF) and retired from USAF in 2005. My better half grew up in Boston and was educated there as well as in Missouri and Michigan. We reside just east of Dayton, OH, have 3 married children (plus 2 grands) who live in Indiana, California and Kentucky. We purchased this summer vacation property as a legacy for our children, grandchildren and future generations. We absolutely love this home and the community and we're confident you'll love it too!

It was a very pleasant stay.
Great property. Fred & Cheryl are easy to communicate with & very helpful. Look to return!
Very good. Peaceful and relaxing. Well equipped and great location.
Thanks Gerry for your wonderful review! We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay! We're currently taking bookings for next summer and we hope to see you again in 2020! Yes, any time at the lake makes us peaceful and relaxed. Thanks again,
Cheryl and Fred
It was a nice place. Plenty of table space. Well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils. Dishwasher had a leak. It was nice to have our own beach. Check out is 10 am. If we would have used all the beds it would have been hard to have them all washed by then.
Thanks, it was great to have you stay with us! Also, thanks for pointing out the laundry issue. We realized that was unreasonable & have since updated our rules to require only running the 1st load of laundry upon guest departure - we're still fine-tuning. We hope you'll stay with us again!
Wonderful family vacation
My wife, our two children and spouses, and three grandchildren spent a wonderful four days in Fred's house. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out so that we didn't feel crowded. The kitchen was a bit small but still met our needs very nicely and was very well-stocked with cookware. The "Lanai" contains a very large round table where all nine of us sat comfortably for our evening meal (a large lazy Susan for the middle of this table would help greatly with serving). Great family memories.
The only disappointment was the beach. The house is part of a Home Owners Association, meaning we had a private beach but we could not stroll along the lake front. The beach was smaller then we anticipated. While not Fred's fault, Lake Erie was suffering from an algae bloom. Despite these inconveniences, our family enjoyed their time in the water. Our son-in-law even caught several fish while casting from the shore.
The property is better equipped than the listing shows: no need to bring your own corn hole game, water floats, grill, etc.
Catawba Island and the ferry to Put-in-Bay is a little less then 30 minutes away. In nearby Oak Harbor, a ten minute drive, there is a well-stocked grocery story and a wonderful pizza parlor.
Thanks Tim and Lynda for the overview of your stay! We're very pleased you were able to enjoy family time and the water despite the algae bloom. Your suggestion about a large Lazy Susan was seriously considered, and a 21" diameter one it's way to the lake house as I write! If the pizza parlor you enjoyed in Oak Harbor was Pisanello's, you're absolutely right! Porky's Pizza Trof is also great and closer to our vacation home! We're so glad you had a chance to stay with us, and hope you'll be staying with us in 2020 - we're booking already! Warmest regards,
Cheryl and Fred
