Why Suzanne Perry chose Harbor Springs
There is so little available for rent in this area, I found it was better to have my own extended housing to accommodate visiting family and friends, then rent it to guests when we don't need it. I use the property for tennis whether I have guests or not, it's the greatest!
What makes this Condo unique
Harbor Springs is the crown jewel of Michigan, but Petoskey has the nightlife… this condo is right between both on a beautiful slope overlooking the bluest water you've ever seen, with a golf course as a front lawn. Restaurants and shops either way you venture. Little Traverse Wheel Way is a paved cycling/walking path nearby, and Petoskey State Park sandy beach is 5 minutes away. We're right along the snowmobile trails in winter, just 5 minutes to the ski slopes (Nubs Nob + Boyne Highlands), fireplace ready for you. Perfect!

Enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed our week long stay, there were 6 adults and 2 children. Upon our arrival everything was as pictured although we were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms. There were still used bars of soap in both showers along with used shampoo etc. there was also some leftover food in the fridge and freezer. Not huge problems but would definitely recommend the owner making sure that all is cleaned out before the next renters, we have never stayed anywhere that there's been leftovers or use things like that. Rooms were as pictured beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. Loved having the slide out doors onto the balconies to go outside and sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. The kitchen was a small room no more than two people could fit, microwave and coffee pot worked fine. We did a lot of cooking so a few more essentials would've been nice, a cookie sheet and a bigger tea pitcher would've been handy. The kitchen table only has four chairs and so we had to bring a few from the outside, no big deal. The floors are very squeaky if you have light sleepers going with you I would suggest bringing earplugs, be aware main and upper floors and stairs are very loud. Also a few of the permanent neighbors have dogs so we did hear some barking. We enjoyed the pool and there were tennis courts to be used and we were right on the golf course. Suzanne was very helpful when we were trying to figure out the tv and left her phone number in case of any issues. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, since there were no reviews we wanted to be sure to leave one to help future renters have a little more insight.
Thank you for your review. I have removed the soap products from the showers and have stored them for guests to find should they need anything. Sorry you did not like to see those items, great suggestion. We clean each room thoroughly and wash all linens and towels between each visit, and the kitchen and baths are scrubbed. A few food essentials are left for guests' convenience, but you should discard or store anything you do not want or need. The condo has most everything you need to cook and serve, butter, condiments, every small appliance, even a pitcher for tea, and two cookie sheets, which I stored in a better place, easier to find.
Halfway between downtown Harbor Springs and downtown Petoskey, it's a summer paradise, and a winter ski and snowmobile vacation. Working fireplace.
