Find the Forgotten Coast with all of the modern convenience of a well-kept, loving home. Stay connected while away from it all with wireless high speed Internet. Sustain your soul while sitting on an Adirondack chair on an expansive covered deck adjoining an uncovered deck with luring Gulf views. Sustain your body with a fully equipped kitchen (updated in December 2015) to support any foodie’s passion, and make memories with family meals and game night in the mural walled dining area. Get lost in one of many books from the library, or catch up on your favorite shows on the flat screen cable TV with Blue Ray DVD player while stretching out on one of two leather reclining sofas. Year round, you will be comfortable with central heat and air and ceiling fans, a wood burning fireplace, well stocked game closet, extensive book and movie collection (DVD and VCR), and luxury linens (300 thread count or above).

This spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath, single family house faces the beach with an inviting ocean view. The open plan downstairs is characterized by a professional artist ocean mural on a feature wall with access to a spacious L-shaped kitchen – the Keurig coffee maker or electric kettle can coax you to wake for a magical sunrise walk on the expansive beach. The mural sets the mood for the dining room with a large wooden table and chairs comfortably seating 6-8 loved ones. The living room is defined by 2 leather reclining sofas controlled by electrical buttons, positioned to enjoy a 54 in. flat screen TV, wood burning fireplace and French doors. The downstairs living area has a convenient full bathroom (with access to the side entrance and outdoor shower). All this lovely living space extends outdoors in both the front and rear with wooden Adirondack chairs and dining table on spacious decks. The upstairs supports three generous bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The en suite front bedroom, decorated in warm yellow, has two twin beds, a desk, dresser and TV; the master bedroom, decorated in cool blue, has a queen bed, handcrafted rocker for reading, a dresser and TV, and bathroom with a vanity area; finally the third bedroom, decorated in cool blue, is accessible through the master bedroom, caressed in light and the music of the ocean waves with 5 ocean view windows, a VCR TV, and spacious seating area of wicker furnishings.

Amazing Grace is a well maintained and cared for home with wide planked oak wood floors and a calm coastal color palette. Child and Pet Friendly! Non Smoking! Situated on the 1st tier, Amazing Grace has easy beach access and ocean views. Our house is located a stone’s throw from two direct boardwalks to the beach. Each boardwalk is about 300 feet long ending directly on a wide beach with soft, white sand dunes (about 600 feet to the water). The back deck of the house is spacious and enticing with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico. From the bay side of the house you can just make out the St. Joseph Bay, a designated Florida Aquatic Preserve. Both beach and bay are convenient to access from Amazing Grace, by foot or car and boat trailer. Amazing Grace is located approximately one mile West on Cape San Blas Road after turning off C-30 toward the Cape.

World renowned for nature activities such as fishing, scalloping, kayaking, boating, shell collecting, horseback riding, bicycling, and wildlife watching, especially migrating birds or butterflies, and local playful bottlenose dolphins. Saturday to Saturday Rentals preferred but other dates and partial weeks are considered. Specials do not include holidays. The closest major airports are the Panama City Bay County International airport (PFN) located approximately 36 miles northwest of Port St Joe in Panama City, Florida, and the Tallahassee Regional airport (TLH) located roughly 69 miles northeast of Port St Joe in Tallahassee Florida.


'Just 35 miles south of Panama City, Cape San Blas beaches are peaceful, not overdeveloped. In fact, you can sometimes walk a mile or two in the off season without seeing another dog or person. The state park at the end of the cape was named 2002 Best Beach In America by Dr. Beach.'

Also you may want extra toilet tissue and soaps (including clothes soap) and shampoos.

Amazing Grace is roomy, comfortable and well located.

Our stay at Amazing Grace was our first at Cape San Blas. We enjoyed our stay - cottage was well located for our activities on Cape and in town of St. Joe. We liked that area was quieter than other FL areas we have visited. The cottage artwork of Florida scenes was very pretty-originals by Grace. Owner Bob quickly solved things that needed attention. Our only regret is that out stay was too short!

Great stay and very relaxing place to vacation.

Owner keeps property well maintained. Close walk to the beach. Good location for a short drive back to St Joe or a short drive out to the Cape San Blas state park. Good fishing in the bay.

Positively RELAXING vacation get-away

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable fall family vacation at Amazing Grace. The home was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and we felt we were able to make ourselves at home. The outdoor space was a bonus and a great place to eat, read, nap or just unwind. The owner and property manager were awesome to deal with and hope we are able to make a return visit one day soon!

Absolutely AMAZING

This is the second year we have stayed at Amazing Grace. From begin to the unfortunate end it has been one of the best vacations I have had. The beach house just felt like home as soon as you walk in. The walk to the beach and everything in between. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We came down for a relaxing fall break--my husband, myself, our baby girl, Molly (4-legged!), and my parents. We were extremely impressed with the quality of furnishings and the thoughtfulness of the owners when stocking a vacation rental. Everything we needed was here, and the location was great. We love the peaceful, pet-friendly beaches, and the accommodations did not disappoint. I would recommend this rental to anyone seeking a relaxing retreat.

Great time! Lovely beach!

We had a great time at Amazing Grace despite being there during a rainy streak. The house is cute, comfortable, very clean. The back deck is large and a lovely place to sit. There is also an amazing collection of DVDs & Disney VHS. we couldn't get internet - signal strength with there but "couldn't connect to server." I'm not a techy person so could have been something I was doing wrong.

Owner's Response: We are glad you had a "great time at Amazing Grace despite being there during a rainy streak." We can't control the weather but we can fix the internet connection when you can't connect. We are sorry you "couldn't get internet - signal strength was there but "couldn't connect to server."". The Internet and Wi-fi is typically great with no problems. And if it is out for some reason our neighbors gave us their Wi-fi information to connect to (assuming both are not out for some reason). We have had internet at the house the 20+ years we have owned it and it is pretty stable and typically does not have any problems. On the occasions when there is an issue we 1) unplug the phone companies router (cable modem) and plug it back in and if that doesn't work 2) we call the phone company. They have always sent someone out the same day. Again, we are sorry you had an issue with the Internet as that is a critical thing to keep up and running. I know when we are there we rely heavily on it as often we take "working vacations" where we have to stay in communication and the Internet is what we use. We have the fastest internet package the phone company offers at that location. Future renters, we are always available and "online" and "on call" for phone voice or text messages and will do our best to make sure any issues, including Internet connectivity, are fixed ASAP. The local property manager is also just a few miles away and can help with Internet and other issues as well.

Cancellation Policy:

* If cancellation received 60 days or more before the scheduled date of check-in -- $100 service charge
* If cancellation received between 30 and sixty days before the scheduled check-in -- fifty percent (50%) of the rent amount is due.
* If cancellation received between 15 and 29 days before the scheduled check-in – seventy five percent (75%) of the rent is due.
* If cancellation received less than 15 days before the date of the check-in, or tenant does not come (“no-show”) one hundred percent (100%) of the rent amount is due.

The damage deposit may be retained and applied toward the cancellation fee. The owner may cancel for any reason and when possible provide a minimum of 7 days notice. Full refunds of all amounts paid will be issued for owner-initiated cancellations. Cancellations due to hurricanes are encouraged but are the sole responsibility of the renter.
