-3 bedroom, 2300 sq ft upper suite plus a cozy 2 bedroom, 1700 sq ft lower suite; 3 decks

-2 fully equipped kitchens (including microwave and dishwasher in both)

-high speed wireless internet, 2 HD TV's with cable service

-indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, hot tub

-summer activities: swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, golfing (sports equipment not included)

-winter activities: only 60 min away from Red Mountain (4200 acres of amazing ski terrain); cross-country skiing

Rental points:

-minimum 7 night rental during peak summer season (late June to early Sept)

-minimum 4 night rental all other times

-change over day is Monday to Monday during peak seasons

-the whole house must be rented during peak season; at other times, we rent out Upper Suite only if 6 guests or less

About Stan and Denise Kroeker

Hi, we are Stan and Denise Kroeker. We have enjoyed beautiful Christine Lake since 1999 and always dreamed of owning a lakefront home at Christina Lake. We are happy to share our lovely home until we retire to the lake in a few years and hope you will fall in love with the area and home as we have.

We believe that Christina Lake is the best kept secret of the West Kootenays. Even though it is the warmest tree lined lake in North America, it has remained a pristine, uncommercialized wilderness retreat. We take every opportunity to “get away from the city” as a family and relax and recharge in its quiet charm.

What makes this house unique

There is nothing nicer than waking up in the morning to the sound of nature all around. The sun rises over the mountains to the east and shines across the lake while you enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the lake front deck. You can enjoy the day at your our own private beach front and dock or spend the day on the lake. The swimming is great! When the stars light up the sky at night you may enjoy the hot tub & fire pit.

Three Family Lake-Front Holiday

This was our 4th year at Twin Firs and was as enjoyable as the first three. The house provides roomy deluxe accommodation for the 12 of us with a great dock as a launching point for swimming and water sports as well as good mooring for our ski boat. Fishing off the dock was productive for those so inclined. Being located near the bottom of the lake provides convenient access to local amenities.

We all look forward to returning for a 5th year.

Beautiful home, amazing location

The home provided the perfect space for our family vacation. We enjoyed time together making meals in the very well appointed upstairs kitchen and dining on the main deck but we could retreat to our own private spaces. Our two young grandsons loved the froggy themed bedroom and bathroom downstairs and it was great to have a separate kitchen and bedroom for their parents. The master suite was very spacious with an incredible view of the lake. There was a separate wing for our other adult son. A perfect place for a memorable family holiday.

Amazing views

We had a fantastic stay. The house had amazing views. The property was very clean and the beds are so comfortable ( better than home). The hosts were very easy to communicate with any time before or during our stay. Would definitely stay again. If only the owners could have melted the ice on the lake and control the weather.

Bueatiful home.

Twin Firs was a bueatiful property with lots of room for two families. We rented both units as we needed the whole house. It was well set up and very comfortable and was nicer then the photos showed.

Over all I would recommend this property for any one looking for a large home on Christina lake.
