Great flat in a great location. I definitely want to stay here again!
Great flat and great location
The other great reviews were accurate! This was a first rate location to explore London. I’m glad we stayed so centrally located. No matter where you stay, you are on the tube and bus plenty - no need to add another hour of transit staying outside of central London. Apartment was very comfortable, we slept well and had everything we needed. Grocery store and drug store in the complex below as well as plenty of places for a quick bite. North Sea Fish restaurant nearby was a favorite.
Family Trip to London
The apartment was great for our family of four. It was nice to have a full kitchen. The flat also had a washer and dryer. Keirion was a great host. He met us at the flat and provided us an overview of the apartment. Keirion make us feel welcome from the moment we met. The balcony provided extra space for relaxing. The front windows provide an open feeling to the apartment. The location was perfect. The grocery store was literally steps from the entrance to the apartment complex. The underground was about a block away. If you want to take the Eurostar to Paris the train station is nearby. If you are into shopping the Bloomsbury complex has several stores. There is a nice bookstore in the complex as well as a drug store. The area was very safe. We went out at night and felt safe. There are good restaurants/pubs nearby. The British Museum and British Library are within walking distance. If you want to feel like a local stay at Keirion's place. I would definitely stay again.
Convenient and comfortable
Great location. 5 Minutes from Picadilly tube line with direct access from LHR. Spacious flat, two bedroom, oven, full size washer/dryer, nice balcony
With table and view of park. Great communication and response from Keirion.
Loved shopping at Waitrose Supermarket. Recommend Sophia’s for pizza.
Furnishings are basic but comfortable. Returning in 2019.

Great value with easy access to the heart of London
We were traveling as a group of 5. There was plenty of space for us, as long as we were willling to share queen beds. The pull out was relatively comfortable and fine for my 12 year old. There were plenty of extra pillows and sheets around to make up the extra beds as needed.
Kierion greeted us at the train station, walked us to the apartment and showed us around. He also purchased some groceries for us as we were arriving after 10:00PM and needed to eat something, but all the shops were closed. It was very helpful!
We visited during a heat wave, and there is no air conditioning, but the evening was cool and all the windows and three patio doors could remain open while we slept, for a lovely cross breeze.
The apartment is in good condition in a modern concrete building. Our space was well maintained and functional, though not luxurious. It was akin to a post-college apartment where the tenants had cleaned really well knowing mom and dad were coming for a visit. There were a wide selection books and other items other tenenants had left behind on a shelf and we enjoyed looking at them. Some basics were in place, like dish soap, salt, pepper, body wash, etc.
Just outside the apartment, between two identical apartment buildings, is a modern outdoor shopping court, mostly full of chain restaurants like starbucks, nandos, and other fast casual places, plus a full supermarket and a convenience supermarket with extended hours. There is also a pharmacy. Basically, anything your family needed and a great jumping off point for breakfast. It was a short walk to kings cross, and just beyond, the canal-side Granary Square for a beautiful shopping and dining evening. Go at sunset. We also walked to Fitzrovia for an evening meal and ice cream.
We walked to and from the London Eye, Westminster, etc. While not a short walk, it was scenic and led us through all the neighborhoods we would not be able to explore this visit.
We would definitely recommend this apartment. It's a bit quirky, but fun, and provided for our every need.
Location and Comfort
VRBO lives and dies by honest reviews. I aspire to describe the accommodation fairly. Communication before arrival was good. Location could not be easier to find nor better for the Bloomsbury area. Getting into the room was very easy; Keirion answered and was there promptly. He is very kind and welcoming. All was ready. We arrived during a particularly hot period in London and were pleased to learn the apartment had two fans. The apartment is a good size and was stocked with all that one would expect in a VRBO and a bit more. (ie: there were laundry detergent tabs that made things easy for us.) Brunswick Centre is very unusual, bit brutal on the outside. inside the apartment is warm and inviting. There is a long balcony that connects the living area and the two bedrooms. Fun to stand out and just watch the world go by. All of the apartment was clean and prepared. Bathroom has been updated and all worked well. Beds were spotless and comfortable (and not worn out). All four of us were pleased and felt safe, private, and comfortable. If you are there in the months when the windows must be open, you need to know there is considerable street noise. To sum: the apartment and the host are exactly what make VRBO such a fine way to travel. All four of us agreed that we would stay here again next time in London.
