A rustic two bedroom cottage with beautiful sea views on a quiet beach near Baie Verte NB.

Situated close to border with Nova Scotia, the Confederation Bridge and Prince Edward Island, Sackville, Shediac, Amherst, Pugwash, Tatamagouche, Parrsboro and Joggins. Our cottage is ideally placed to explore eastern New Brunswick, PEI and Nova Scotia
Minutes from a wonderful bistro, Le Chat Bleu in Baie Verte and Winegarden Estates Winery (complimentary wine and cheese tasting included in booking (July to September only)). Within a short drive, another fabulous Bistro called 'One Fish Bistro' at Shemogue, green flag beaches at Parlee Beach and Aboiteau with Aboiteau Wharf Restaurant and takeout. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Shediac, Sackville and Amherst.

The beach is a short walk away from the cottage. The sea here at Mason Beach is tidal and comes in twice a day. Shore birds love the shallow waters and depending on the time of year, you can see a variety of birds from cranes, ducks and plovers to bald eagles and more. Bring your binoculars.

Enjoy the warm sea for paddling and swimming during July and August and use the diving stand.

Our rustic cottage, with its traditional pine clad and painted plywood walls and floors, has a large front deck with seating to enjoy the sea views and beautiful sunsets. With another large deck at the back of the cottage, enjoy relaxing in our soft hot tub, complete with privacy wall. Use the gas BBQ and patio table and chairs for those 'al fresco' moments. Relax after a busy day and sit around the fire pit in the backyard with a glass of wine or beer or melt marshmallows in the glowing embers of the fire as darkness falls.

The cottage is open concept kitchen, dining and living room.

The kitchen has a full size stove with oven, fridge freezer, toaster convection oven, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker/filters, kettle, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Please bring groceries and any spices/ condiments etc for your own use. No pantry items are provided.

Plenty of room to lounge in the living room area with comfortable leather sofas and cloth recliner chair, keeping cool via the air conditioning.

Enjoy your meals at the dining table overlooking the front deck and sea views.

To keep in touch with your family and friends, enjoy access to our Starlink Internet where you can download and stream. Access to Netflix via the DVD player is included or enjoy a good film from our DVD collection.

After a busy day, enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in our two double beds with gel cooled memory foam topper, 100% cotton sheets and cosy bedspread. For extra warmth, duvets are available. Night stands with hanging wireless LED lights are in each bedroom along with wardrobes and towel stands. There is a cot available for any little ones if required and play pen, just ask.

The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. Complementary bath and hand towels are provided. Please bring your own face cloths and beach towels.

Hand-wash liquid and toilet paper provided. All you need is your favourite shower wash and shampoo.

If you need to wash your clothes following a fun day at the beach, there is a washing machine with complementary laundry soap and there is an outside line and pegs to hang out at the back of the cottage.

Well behaved dogs are welcome and we do ask that you keep pets off furniture and beds and clean up after your dog. Please keep your dog on a leash.

Please note - Our cottage is on a septic system so the maximum number of guests is capped to 4 (adults/children).

There are mosquitoes at the beach due to the location of the nearby marsh during the summer months. Bring bug spray.
