This beautiful, extensive villa is situated in a very private, gated community of only four villas. It is located in the prestigious Verdemar area, which is an extremely pleasant, well established residential area of Villamartin, and adjoins the Villamartin Golf Course. It is a very spacious property with 3 beds, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and is fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. It has the luxury of providing a wonderful private pool just a few steps from the terrace - swim or relax around the pool in complete privacy, a car port, air-con (in all rooms) which is a must in the summer months, an elevated outside dining area, first floor solarium and roof top terrace offering superb views out towards the coast. New additions include free WiFi and solar panel providing more efficient hot water. Although in a quiet area, there are bars, shops and restaurants just a 10min walk away. Perfect holiday villa for the whole family, a 2min drive to the Villamartin Plaza, 5min drive to the beautiful, white sandy beach of La Zenia. Torrevieja with its marina, restaurants, bars, shops and Water Park is a nearby drive away. Features include alarm, cable TV, air-con, DVD/PlayStation 2 console, CD, WiFi.

Villamartin Plaza: The central Plaza of Villamartin is renowned for its abundance of bars and restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines such as Italian, Chinese, Argentinean, Thai, Mexican, Swedish and English and is on two tiers, with a beautiful courtyard in the center. The Plaza also has a small supermarket, a bank, a chemist, a doctors, gift shop, etc. and is a 2 min drive from the villa. Next to the Plaza is the Villamartin Golf Club, which is equipped with tennis courts and a clubhouse restaurant, which is open to the public for lunch and dinner.

Beaches: The Costa Blanca is renowned for its abundance of beautiful white sandy beaches, many of which have been given a European Blue Flag rating. The nearest is La Zenia, which is only a 5 min driveway, Cabo Roig, Dehesa de Campoamor and Mil Palmeras which are within a 10 min drive away and have a gentle sloping sand into the warm sea - ideal for families. Pedelos and water sports can be found at some of the local beaches. If you fancy a drive out, North of Torrevieja are the beautiful beaches of Guadamar which is bordered by a large expanse of sand dunes covered with pines and eucalyptus, La Marina and La Mata.

The resort: The Costa Blanca enjoys a mild climate with year round sunshine. The World Health Organisation recognise it as one of the healthiest areas in the world due to its salt lakes! Torrevieja is only a 15 minute drive away and is a typical Spanish seaside town, where you will find Spanish restaurants and bars, a marina with boat trips and fishing trips available, an evening 'craft market' and fair along the sea front, a local waterpark, go-karting track, cinema, indoor bowling alley and an outdoor shopping complex 'La Habanaras'. Locally, you need never go hungry or thirsty as there are many restaurants and bars that can easily be reached on foot or by car. For golf enthusiasts, the villa overlooks the 17th hole of the Villamartin golf course, for non-golfers there are beautiful beaches to explore, water sports, local street markets selling delicious fresh local produce, horse riding, local Spanish towns and villages to visit or simply while away the day by relaxing by the pool.

What makes this villa unique

It's spacious, it's big, light, bright, has tons of outdoor space, it's not overlooked, and did I mention the private pool?

It's a hidden gem in an ideal location, one of only 4 villas in a private gated cul-de-sac, with ample parking space, we couldn't resist it when we viewed it.

We constantly strive to maintain the property to a high standard and each year endeavour to spend time in doing so.

Over the years we've added Wifi (free), a solar panel which has provided a great hot water supply, had a complete refurb of the pool and I must say it looks pretty good, oh and we also have added a new 40' HD Flat screen tv.

Last year we had the outside of the property painted, it's looking bright, fresh and clean, and this summer (2017) we have been busy undertaking pool maintenance, built a brand spanking new outdoor pool shower, and painted the inside of the house ..... phew.

We can also provide the following: Welcome Packs - a selection of essentials including: tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water, bread, butter, etc for 20 euros or a more comprehensive pack consisting of tea, cofee, milk, sugar, bread, butter, ham, cheese, jam, cornflakes, yoghurt, beer, coca cola, fruit juice, 1 bottle red wine, 1 bottle white wine, 2 litres water, toilet rolls for 30 euros, which is excellent value and particularly useful if arriving late at night. We can also provide baby items, e.g. cot, pushchair, highchair, etc. to hire. Costs for welcome packs and/or baby items are payable locally in Euros on arrival. For rentals of 10 days or more, a fresh linen service is available. This is an extra cost and can be booked through our Local Rep. Towels are provided for indoor use only. 1 bath towel per person. Please provide your own beach/pool towels. Pool lights are not available in the pool. Please note that smoking is not permitted.

A lovely spacious peaceful Villa with lovely views of the golf course. A ten minute walk is all it takes to a good selection of bars and restaurants. Highly recommend. I didn't want to leave

Ideal for a group of golfers.

We went in January, so not the warmest time of the year to visit Torrevieja. Once we had sorted out the Air Conditioning to warm the Villa we were very happy. The local golf courses were excellent and that's what we were there for, so all good.

Really enjoyed our stay at this villa,the owners were very helpful and the accommodation was as described.would certainly recommend this villa to our friends and family when looking for somewhere to stay in this area.the owners were kind enough to recommend Lara Cars for our rental car and as a previous owner ourselves on Villamartin it was the first time we have been really satisfied with a company that charged what they quoted without any hidden add ons .The villa itself gives you a sense of security due to its gated entrance and pleasant surroundings with a view to the golf course,will certainly book this villa again when visiting Villamartin.

Amazing Villa, would highly recommend.

This was our first holiday away with our children aged 8 and 10, and it was fantastic. The villa was amazing, it had everything we needed, and the private pool is exceptional. By the end of the week my boys water confidence had improved dramatically.

The guides emailed to us by Judith for restaurants and beaches in the area was an immense help, and we ate at the recommended plaza 4 nights of the week.

We have never rented a private villa before, but the process with Judith completely put our minds at rest, and she answered any questions we had.

Overall it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this villa.

We will definitely be returning again in the future, as it was a real pleasure, and we created some great memories. Kim.

We had a very enjoyable week at this beautiful villa. The property was exactly as described. The villa was very spacious, well maintained and everywhere was extremely clean. We were impressed with all the facilities - comfortable beds, large flat screen tv with lots of channels, wi-fi, and the air-con was very much welcomed (as the weather was glorious), and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was amazing, with sun loungers and a large parasol providing welcome shade during the mid day heat, the pool was in top condition, and the pool guys cleaned twice a week while we were there. Having a private pool to splash around in all day was perfect, our children loved it.

The villa is in a good spot, the surrounding area is very pretty and well looked after, the nearby supermarket was well stocked with fab meat and fish counters, great for bbqs, and we found some lovely places to eat and drink out at the nearby commercial centre, and also the Villa martin Plaza had a great selection of restaurants.

We had a couple of days out at the local beach at La Zenia, which is definitely worth a trip, there's lots of activities on the beach and a lively beach bar.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful villa for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, in a private luxury villa. We have already booked a return holiday here in the summer, and are counting down the days.

Great place

We rented the villa for one week in September 2014. It is a wonderful rental for a holiday in Spain. The house is spacious, well maintained. One of the highlights is the private pool. The enclosure is gated for added safety. As to the kitchen it has everything one needs for self catering. Also, the location puts you in easy reach of the beach at La Zenia, excellent shopping opportunities, restaurants, cafés and last but not least the main motor way. All in all we can highly recommend this property; we will definitely book again

Villamartin is situated approximately 12 km west of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. It is approximately a 45 minute drive from Alicante Airport and a 25 minute drive from Murica Airport. There are several blue flag beaches within the area providing clean and safe bathing. The villa has beautiful marble flooring throughout and consists of three twin bedrooms, all with built in wardrobes and air-conditioning unit in each room. To the ground floor is master bedroom with en-suite, dining area, lounge with sofa bed for two people, kitchen, utility room and Wc. From the lounge patio doors is an elevated outside dining area. To the first floor level there are two twin bedrooms, master bathroom and door leading to solarium. Steps from the solarium lead up to roof top terrace.

Golf: Villamartin is without doubt one of the finest golf courses on the whole of the Costa Blanca. It has hosted the Spanish open in January 2000 and is a frequent venue for the Mediterranean Open. The course is varied and not too long, and is well adapted to the natural surroundings and terrain. It is open all year round and ideally situated adjacent to the property. (As quoted in The Golf Mag Europe, Summer 08 'at the 17th you will find the signature Par 3 220m elevated tee to a tier green - superb').The contrasting courses of Las Ramblas and Campoamor, set amongst incredible water hazards, pine & palm trees are within a 5 min drive, (take plenty of balls with you!). The famous two 18-hole Kentucky blue-grass courses at La Manga are accessible via a 35 min drive south. The relatively new PGA course 'La Finca' is about a 15 min drive away. A clean cost is payable on arrival to pay for clean and laundry after your departure of 100 euros based on 4 people and 10 euros per person thereafter.
A non-refundable Booking deposit is required to secure your booking.
The balance and £200 security deposit is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
No refunds will be given on cancellations after the balance has been paid in full, unless cancelled dates are able to be re-booked.
The air-con/heating units are serviced by a coin operated meter in the property.
On arrival you will be met by our local contact.
Normal check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 10am. For same day bookings, 3pm is check in time. Last check-in time is 10pm. Charges are applicable for check-ins between the hours of 6pm and 10pm of 35 euros.
