You won't believe how special this home and guest house are. Completely remodeled in 2015 and first time being offer as a vacation rental. The property has two full kitchens, two master suites with king size beds with quality bedding, plus an additional guest bedroom. Heated pool and Jacuzzi, outdoor dining on screened-in porch with amazing view and multiple porches to enjoy. Built in BBQ. RV Barn, plus two car garage. Pets welcomed with a secured fenced area for dogs and also fenced for horses. Borders the Coronado National Forest and the Coronado Ridge Hiking Trail that taps into the Arizona Trail. Amazing Off Road Trails including the Charlou Gap Trail. Just Google any of these trails and you will realize what an amazing outdoor area this property is located in. At the base of the Catalina Mountain, located in the town of Oracle, we are 20 minutes northeast of Tucson and Oro Valley. Away from the city but close enough to take advantage of all of the activities that Tucson offers.

About Property Manager/Owner

Gregg and Helen Vinson are local ranchers and business owners. They have lived in the community of Oracle, AZ for 30 years and believe that the town is an undiscovered piece of heaven. The home is located near their residence and may someday be their permanent residence, but for now they are excited to share this unique home with others and let travelers discover for themselves what make this location so ideal.

Why Property Manager/Owner chose Arizona

They realized very quickly that having a unique property with quality furnishing and décor, in a special location is very appealing to Travelers using the sites. So in 2012 when this property came available in Oracle, their home town for 30 years, they felt it had the potential to make another amazing vacation rental. Over the last 3 years the two of them have diligently worked to create another destination vacation rental. They have added square footage to the existing structure and upgraded everything about the home. You won't be disappointed with your choice in this home.

What makes this house unique

This property offers incredible outdoor living to those individuals looking for something so close to the city, but not in the city. Beautiful weather year round makes this ideal for people looking to get out of the winter cold of the majority of the USA or relief from the summer heat of Tucson and Phoenix.

The home and the views were amazing! I agree with other reviews that said the pictures really don't do it justice :) ! Very relaxing, private - great for families or couples. We stayed with my husband, kids, and my mom stayed the casita - it was perfect. We couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was while we were there.

We will definitely be coming back!

Experience in Arizona

Our experience at the Pool House was heart wrenching. Our three year old granddaughter was stung by a bark Scorpion while swimming in the pool. She was flown by helicopter in critical condition to the Pediatric ER in Tucson. After 4 vials of antivenom, she stabilized. Acouple days later my son saw 16 scorpions around house and pool and moved his family to a hotel. We were told by owner's daughter that the property hadn't been sprayed prior to our arrival much to ur dismay

Owner's Response: Our hearts go out to this family. We feel terrible that they went through this. We have two VRBO's and we have nothing but 5 star reviews on both of them. We take great pride in how we maintain our properties. We have added having the home sprayed for scorpions on a regular basis and will continue to do everything possible to ensure our guest comfort and safety.

One of the best views in Oracle. House is beautifully decorated and everything you could possibly need is provided. Our second year staying in the house for a month. Close to hiking trails, trust land and the best breakfast cafe!!

Birthday Get-away!

Beautiful property. My husband and I celebrated my 50th birthday in this Oracle gem of a house. Everything was clean, and extremely inviting and comfy! The location is exactly what I was looking for, quiet and calm. We were able to get out and go trail riding as well, enjoyed some wildlife, some desert views which were spectacular and some snow up on the mountain. I would highly recommend this property for a getaway weekend. You will not want to leave!

Beautiful property with thoughtfulness at every turn!

We selected this property to spend some time with our adult children who are attending University of Arizona and Pima Community College. We were a party of 8 when we added the other set of parents. We were first to arrive at the property and were so taken by the views we didn't even unload the car until after the sunset. The property was thoughtfully renovated and very clean. We did not make use of the pool but we enjoyed the spa. The furnishings were so interesting it seemed each piece seemed to tell it's own story. We were delightfully surprised by multiple seating areas where we could catch up with each other. The older "boys" rode their ATV's while some of us lounged about the property. Some napped while others hiked. It was a very "well-rounded" property with something for everyone to do.

We did not use the kitchen much but made great use of the outdoor grill. Both houses were filled with just about everything we needed. Dishes, serve ware and plenty of extra linens.

The bathrooms were thoughtfully designed and my husband even tried the outdoor shower just to say we tried it :) There is an outdoor dining space that is screened in to reduce the insect population. For us city-girls that was a HUGE hit.

We had one request during our stay and the owner/manager was very responsive and accommodating. I can not comment on the timeliness of the return of the deposit as we are still waiting for that to happen.

All in all we would certainly return to this property! I believe they should advertise it as a wedding destination for an intimate wedding event. The other mom and myself had fun making those plans for brides and grooms we'll never meet.. :)
