Great location for Winter

  • 5 of 5

Between Whitefish ski resort and West Glacier entrance, this little house is perfect for your winter break. You can easily go X Country skiing or snowshoeing along the Mc Donald lake in Glacier and the next day downhill skiing in Whitefish, all within 30 minutes from there.

The house is small but very comfortable, and well equipped (especially the kitchen) for a nice stay.

The only issue is that snowstorm may render the driveway impassable. It happened to us, but fortunately, Justin and the neighbors all work to plow the snow!

We haven't managed to do a sleigh ride during our stay, so we are considering coming back to the same house in the future and book one in advance!

Quiet, comfortable home in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful base home for exploring Glacier National Park and surrounding towns. We were excited when we found this home as we planned a week at Glacier, and it did not disappoint us! The home is nicely furnished, very clean, and well-stocked with basic necessities. It is a short drive to grocery stores and gas. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed watching deer in the evening. The owners were very welcoming hosts and easy to work with. There was plenty of room for four adults and we were grateful for a comfortable place to relax after hiking and exploring all day.

Good location.

Pictures are accurate. Very clean and good location to visit Glacier and surrounding area. Even though it is in a neighborhood, it is very quiet. Immediate response from manager when needed. Could use a bigger couch for sitting and end tables with lamps in second bedroom.

Peaceful, clean, and attractive!

  • 5 of 5

Best VRBO property we have stayed at. Updated kitchen, well equipped and spotless. Good location, in very quiet area, with easy access to resturants and a short drive to Glacier NP. Convenient to have washer and dryer. Loved the comfortable king size bed in one bedroom! Very difficult to find a king bed except in hotels. We loved sitting on the front porch with a view of the mountains, and the fawn and turkeys in adjacent field. Only cons, need instructions, prior to visit, for the TV, which can only be used with smart phone or laptop. We only stayed 3 nights and had books but a longer stay, and we would have missed TV. The small leather bench seat, in living room, was very uncomfortable, to the point of being unusable. A traditional cushioned loveseat would be much more comfortable, after a long day in the park. We had 3 adults and only one cushioned chair. Overall, nicely decorated, quiet, clean, vacation property. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable with great location.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful experience at Gateway to Glacier National Park. The home was spacious and clean, with unique furniture pieces and nice dishes, appliances, soaps, etc. We loved the rockers on the front porch and the horses next door. The location was perfect for day trips to Glacier as well.

Columbia Falls and Glacier House Rental

  • 5 of 5

WOW - what a great place. This single family house is located just a short distance to Glacier National Park and WhiteFish. My family found this to be so comfortable, perfectly clean, and warm. The views from the front porch, having a drink, are really special. The owners could not have been better hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed, with lots of great ideas on the area. We are so lucky to have found this wonderful place and it helped ensure a special vacation. Felt like home...don't pass this one up. Thank you again for such a great place...I highly recommend it to family, friends, and all!!!
