Remote and private: perfect for cynosport stay!

  • 4 of 5

The stables are quiet, and well stocked with the necessities (minus a towel bar, but an inexpensive door hook strip fixed that). We were pleased to wander the paths, watched meteor showers from the garden, and had a lovely stay, well supported by the owner. Some dust in the corners and cobwebs wouldn’t keep us from rebooking, but the 30+ minute drive to Murfreesboro might. If you don’t have to make daily (repeated) trips, it is a lovely place to relax, enjoy birds and stars, and be peace.

Quiet little getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect little quiet cabin! Beautiful cabin inside and out. The cabin is tucked away perfectly, but yet still close to town. The amount of wildlife was amazing. My kids loved the little white kitty! We did go on a little walk behind the cabin, it was so peaceful. We will definitely be back. We felt so at home here. David was sweet, responded every time there was a question, he even delivered towels! Thank you for sharing your little bit of mountain paradise!

Great location in the hills of TN

  • 5 of 5

July 2-6, 2016. The cottage was clean and ready for us to occupy. There is a room upstairs which holds a twin bed and a sofa, we did not use it. This property is out in the woods on the side of a hill. Plenty of deer and rabbits on the property. There is a lake and pond about 3/4th of a mile up and over the hill behind the cottage. Two friendly large dogs are up there, they might scare you as they like to jump on you to get attention.

David Wood the owner is so very nice. Gave us a bunch of vegetables from his garden. There are no road signs, so using a GPS is probably the best way to get there. We had friends in Woodbury (name of town where this is located) who showed us the way. There is a Dollar General, Safeway and PigglyWiggly in town, but that's it! We had a great time and enjoyed being in the country.

Cottage has internet. ATT cell phones did not work in the cottage, but signals were present in town. The property is about 3-4 miles out of Woodbury.

We would like to visit there again for sure.

Very peaceful.Upon arrivial 3 deer were standing in the field.Rural and rustic with all your basic necessities.Property was clean.Window air conditioners kept the house comfortable. As stated there is no cable,we watched couple of movies and managed.Owner is right next door and came over on arrival to chat and make sure everything was ok. Great deals at Save-A-Lot grocery store within 2 miles of property.I would recommend this property to anyone seeking to just relax and unwind.
