The apartment is conveniently located close to many city centre amenities and comes fully furnished with wood flooring in the hall, kitchen & lounge, and carpeting in the bedrooms of the flat. The apartment security entry system ensures only residents can gain access to the building while the allocated off street parking space to the rear of the building is rare within a Glasgow city centre location. The flat also features its own free 5MB wired and wireless internet connection(wi-fi).
The city's exclusive West End is only 15 minutes walk from the apartment and boasts some of the best bars, restaurants, nightlife, museums, architecture and history in Glasgow. The local amenities are second to none, 20 mintutes walk from the apartment will take you to Cowcaddens Underground railway station, The main city bus station, The main railway station, the M8 motorway, and the local bus stop is only two minutes away. All this plus you could be in George Square (Glasgow's official central point) in little more than 25 minutes walk where you'll find the tourist information office and regular sightseeing bus tours around Glasgow.
For those with their own transport there are many famous Scottish attractions within less than an hour's drive. The most famous being: Loch Lomond and the Trossacs, Robert Burns Birthplace and Stirling Castle. Not forgetting Edinburgh Castle on the Mound, and many more. For those willing to travel a little further the Scottish Highlands offer some of the world's most spectacular scenery, hillwalks and sightseeing.

Very pleasant. Double bed in smaller room creeks when you turn
This was ideal for us visiting Glasgow with a car, which needed a parking space. It was clean, comfortable and more spacious than the photos displayed. We were able to stay with our daughter and have our son over for a meal or two while visiting from Glasgow Uni. Despite its location near a busy road we were not bothered by traffic noise as the flat is two floors up and the bedrooms were at the rear of the block. We were very happy with our stay.
private parking was an asset because you need a car to go anywhere in Glasgow. The apartment was bright, clean and well laid out
My only bad comment is that the area that the website says the apartment is, is not where the apartment actually is. The apartment is north of the M8, not the central/eastern part of the city. However, this all being said, I would return again
The apartment was modern, clean with a car park, it had everything we needed. Good central location, we walked a couple times into glasgow city centre and once to the bus terminal to get a bus to Edinborough, its an easy walk. As we had the car as well, we found it a great location to explore other areas as well. Everything had great instructions and when I contacted Philip with a query, he responded very quickly. This NZ family found the apartment to be fantastic and would recomend it highly to others.
Philip's apartment provided very comfortable, very clean, and well-equipped accommodation for my month's stay in Glasgow. The entire apartment complex is attractive, well-kept, and felt safe at all times. Having a private parking space right at the door was a bonus. Although the front windows face out on a busy street, the traffic noise was minimal. The back bedroom has a fantastic view of the main Glasgow University building, and was so quiet, it was hard to believe the place is so near the centre of this great city.
A weekly cleaning service was provided, and this was always thorough.
The location was perfect for me - the city centre is comfortably walkable in just a relaxed 20-minute (Sauchiehall Street) - 30-minute (Central Station) walk away, and is also easily reached by frequent bus services from a nearby bus stop.
Just a short distance away, I enjoyed peaceful walks along the canal - where a delightful small restaurant can also be found. One of the best Chinese restaurants is only 5 minutes from the apartment. And of course a plethora of fantastic restaurants and pubs are available in Glasgow city centre.
The local library, a modern medical centre, an excellent fish and chip shop, a Post Office, an ATM, a couple of pharmacies, and several mini-mart grocery stores are all within 5-10 minutes walk of the apartment. An Enterprise car-hire office is around a 15-minute walk away, and a further 10-minute walk takes you to a large Tesco store (and other retail outlets).
Philip's correspondence and the instruction booklets and maps/guides in the apartment were outstandingly comprehensive, and on the one occasion where I needed to contact him during my month's stay, he was very responsive.

We went to Glasgow to visit my older son and we stayed at Philip Mcmartin's flat for one week. We and our two children really enjoyed.
The flat was fine, spacious, very clean and well equiped. It was comfortable and provided everything we needed.
I would say that it is more beautiful and spacious than what the website photos show.
It is not very close tothe city center but the canal nearby is a really nice place to walk about and play.
I would recommend it to friends and of course it will be our first choice the next time we go to Glasgow.
Glasgow centre is packed with activities, shops, restuarants, botanic gardens etc. And also has some of the best theatres, cinemas and museums in the UK. Glasgow is also close to some fantastic scenery at Loch Lomond in the Trossachs, Stirling Castle, the costal town of Oban, with regular crossings to the many west coast Islands.
Edinbugh is only 50 miles (1 hour) and the apartment is close to the M8 Motorway directly linking the two cities.
Also close to the Forth Clyde Canal which runs from Glasgow to Edinburgh and has recently been modernised. Great for walks, cycling or fishing. Comes with one private car parking space belonging to the apartment, great for hiring a car to tour scotland's attractions.

Cleaning and linen changes take place on a Saturday so all short stay bookings must fall within a Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am range, although I can arrange for arrival/departure on any day within the Saturday to Saturday week.
