We loved our stay here. The apartment was clean, pleasantly decorated and in a great neighborhood. We hope to stay here again.
Lucien couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating and our stay in Cobble Hill was very comfortable. The location is wonderful, and the room with kitchenette provided us with everything we needed.
Loved this studio and a great location for visiting my family in the neighbourhood. Good access to Manhattan but take time to explore the local area.
Lucien was a great host and the studio was a sunny welcoming space to stay. Will return for future trips.
We loved staying here! It was easy and accessible to get everywhere we needed to go via Subway, CitiBike, or walking. The neighborhood is safe & cute, full of shops and resturaunts. Thank you for the gifts and the hospitality. We will be back!
My girlfriend and I arrived to a very pleasant host! He took us to our unit and gave us a gift set from Aesop next door. The bathroom was also stocked with Aesop goodies which was a big bonus since we forgot our liquids bag! It also had tampons, q-tips, makeup mirror.
We were able to find anything we needed within a 5 minute walk (including the F and G trains) which was a huge bonus. I'm a photographer so we enjoyed the natural window light and random art on the wall. There were even fresh flowers! Wifi was solid the entire time.
The kitchen was well stocked and convenient having a stove/oven/fridge. The sink would back up easily but it wasn't a big deal.
I'd stay again!
As soon as we walked into the studio, I instantly felt at home. The room gets a lot of natural light and the space was very open and clean. The rustic furniture, the art on the walls and the books stacked by the windowsill gave the room a very cozy feel. It is hard to describe but it just felt "lived in". I felt more like I was staying at a friend's place than a random stranger's VRBO. Lucien was wonderful and quick to respond to my questions leading up to the trip. He gave us a nice gift of bath products when we arrived. The studio is super conveniently located on the Bergen stop off the F and G trains. It was very easy to get to Manhattan. The street has everything you need...nice organic market, pharmacy, bank, multiple coffee shops, retail shopping...all pretty much right outside the door. Also across the street was Numero 28 Pizzeria. It was fantastic! The pizza was delicious. The service was super friendly and warm and the house red was wonderful! The only downside was the wi-fi. For some reason it didn't seem to consistently cooperate, but we didn't go to New York to stay inside and surf the internet so this was not a big deal for us.
