This is the best neighborhood in the city! Beautiful mansions on tree lined streets.

Our stay at the home was very nice. The house is charming with a lot of character. The homeowners where amazing and made our stay very enjoyable. While the sleeping options were plentiful, I would suggest quality of the beds be upgraded. Even still, the stay was amazing and I would definitely return!
The accommodations at the Seminole House were wonderful! The home was clean and fun to stay in. There was room for 11 to comfortable stay. The dining room table was perfect for many to dine or play board games. The sun porches were beautiful for our spring stay. The baby grand piano was a nice surprise that I hadn't noticed in the pictures. The library was filled with hundreds of interesting and fun books. The home was filled with many lovely antiques. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The Eastern Market and the Gem Theater were very close. Karen was the perfect host and made our wedding weekend stay perfect!! I highly recommend the Seminole House if you are ever staying in the Detroit area.
If you have an appreciation for the beauty of historic neighborhoods and stately homes, look no further than this jewel in Indian Village, Detroit. I traveled on business with meetings at the GM Renaissance Center, just 7 minutes from the house. For business or vacation, you'll be comfortable in this historic gem.
