About Kimberly O'Toole
This is kind of a unique situation. The owner is Mary and I'm Kimberly. My parents built this house for our family of 4 when we lived in Government Camp when I was young. We moved away and on with our lives. Fast forward to a time in my life when I was a stay home mom of 3 living in Tualatin, OR. I did what most stay home moms do...joined a Bunco group! At one of these game nights I met a new player who lived in the neighborhood. We chatted about our families and both realized we like skiing. I mentioned my past life in Government Camp and how I wished I had somewhere to stay after a long day of skiing. Long story short...we realized her parents purchased my childhood home from my parents. What are the odds??? Here we are a few years later and I have the pleasure of managing the rental of my childhood home which brings back so many wonderful memories! I couldn't wait to get started!

Spacious Home Close to Everything
Two families shared this home for the weekend. It was nice to have all the bedrooms upstairs because we had young children with us. There is lots of room to spread out. There are two separate areas to hang out in with a large TV in one and puzzles and games in another. We had dinner in both nights. The kitchen was well equipped. Our only suggestion would be to have a cookie sheet and a medium size cutting board (a small one is provided). We did not have time to explore the shops in Government Camp, which is a small village, but we did stop at the general store for a few things and they are very well stocked for a small store. We took an easy hike to Little Crater Lake (a must see gem). Thank you!
Great place to stay!
We went here for a wedding at Mt. Hood. So much fun to stay here!
Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Great house. Very clean. Everything we needed was provided.
The owner was very helpful and very easy to communicate with.
Thank you for the nice review! So glad you had a nice stay and we hope to see you again in the future!
Comfortable and Easy
The gate thing was kind of a pain but I really like the lack of clean up requirements.
Everything was just exactly as presented.
We all had a great time in this comfy vacation home and loved being so close to Ski Bowl and Government Camp.
Charming Chalet in the woods.
We had such a comfortable stay! Just a great place to end the day or simply enjoy as a destination. In all my years skiing, this is one of the nicest homes I've ever stayed in on Mt Hood.
The chalet is even larger than the VRBO site photos can capture. The cabin is beautifully nestled in the woods close enough to walk to Government Camp, but quietly away from the activity of the village.
The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, serving dishes, china, flatware and glasses as well as a nice assortment of basic spices.
The linens were clean and well-supplied. The cabin was impeccably clean upon arrival. Very nice to feel so comfortable instantly.
The rooms were all generous in size. The living room with its comfy sofas is a nice conversation area just off the kitchen.
We loved our time there.
Trillium Lodge is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Government Camp, Ski Bowl, Summit Ski Area, Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows. In the warmer months there are lots of close hiking trails along with beautiful lakes.
