Located in the very heart of the medieval market town of Uzès, this restored 2nd floor apartment will seduce the most discerning visitor with its casual elegance.

Great for one couple and 2 guests with the two bedroom suites separated by the entrance hallway.

The vast livingroom features a pair of tall windows looking across the street and over the rooftops to the Duke's palace and opens up to a spacious and utterly charming country type kitchen on the other side with a view of the flowering courtyard below.

Furnished with antiques and shabby chic finds, Jacques is superbly comfortable and modernly equipped.

The two bedrooms are separated by the hallway and both are on the very quiet courtyard side.

It is just minutes to all local amenities such as the very attractive and lively Place aux Herbes with its medieval arched vaults and numerous eating places plus 2 weekly markets.

You will find yourself in the midst of history with the 11th century Duchè being the neighbour across the small pedestrian street and on the other side, you overlook a medieval courtyard, currently filled with the beautiful plants of the flower merchant on the ground floor. There are countless cafés and small restaurants around the town and more seem to be coming every year.

The Place aux Herbes hosts a most colourful Provencale Saturday market as well as a smaller, more local one on Wednesdays.

Being also within striking distance of the famous Roman Pont du Gard, the papal city of Avignon, Nîmes with its incomparable Roman arena and countless other places of both cultural and historical interest you will never lack for things to see or do.

My daughter and I spent 10 nights in this apartment in March/ April 2016 and it well and truly suited all our requirements.

Well appointed and very comfortable. Wonderful kitchen and equipment. Superb location great town, markets, restaurants and shops. So much to see. A most enjoyable stay.

We would certainly recommend this property and would come back again.

A very trustworthy and professional manager who was always available.
