Our house is located in the laid-back residential neighborhood of Cannonborough / Elliotborough, close to all the best things to do in downtown Charleston. The area is full of popular local eateries, including 5 Loaves, known as one of the best restaurants in Charleston and great for a casual bite to eat. For fine dining, we recommend heading to Trattoria Lucca, a fantastic Italian restaurant near the MUSC campus. For those with a sweet tooth, make sure to check out Sugar Bakeshop on Cannon Street, a friendly neighborhood bakeshop offering a variety of homemade treats, all made with local, fresh ingredients. In the evening, have fun hanging out at D’Allesandro’s, a lively pizzeria serving local beers and gourmet pizzas.
If you like shopping, we recommend Rogue Wave, a great surf shop with new and vintage surfboards and clothing, or Continuum Skate Shop, both on Spring Street. The King Street shopping district is also only a short walk away where there is a great selection of shops and dining spots, including antique shops, fashion boutiques and seafood restaurants.
If you want to explore more of downtown Charleston, or would prefer not to walk, our house is only a block and a half away from the Carta Express Line where you can take a bus through the downtown area.
This property is located downtown, so walking is a must. For guests who care to either ride uber/taxi, the property is easily accessible by both. It is also conveniently located a block and half away from the Carta Express line that has stops all throughout the downtown area.
