Neighborhood :

Family-friendly : San Pedro is very much a family-centred town and as such, a favorite with holidaymakers with children and with young local families. There’s plenty for children to do – the new central boulevard is particularly appealing – and many activities in the town cater specifically for families.

Location : Its proximity to Marbella and Puerto Banus is one of the main attractions because San Pedro allows you to live in quieter environment but with everything a busy resort has to offer on your doorstep.

San Pedro’s newest attraction “The Boulevard” has over 11,000m2 dedicated to parkland, with around 3,500m2 of lawn area and 32,000m2 of trees, greenery, plants and vegetation. It also features seven large water areas and an outdoor amphitheatre with seating for 500 spectators which hosts a regular schedule of performances, shows and activities for locals and visitors to enjoy. We have fallen in love with Costa del Sol and now live full time in Marbella, lucky us.

This means that we can assist you with any question you may have, nice tapas bar, restaurants, beaches, attractions, golf, and many more. We can also help you with your car rental needs, although for this property you do not really need a car, it is nice to rent one first because they are cheap and most importantly because Costa del Sol is beautiful and there are son many great things to see and explore. You can also just enjoy the beach and chiringuitos if you wish.

We bought that property for its proximity to the beach and the center of San Pedro and the great pools in the complex. Our kids love it. For us the secure parking spot next to the elevator that opens just by the door of the apartment was also a big plus. We also chose San Pedro because of its proximity to everything (Marbella, Puerto Banus, Sotogrande) while being on the quieter side of things. We hope you will enjoy the house as much as we do

A beautiful week in a beautiful place

We had a wonderful time in San Pedro de Alcantara. The apartment is beautiful, clean, spacious and well equipped, but no beach/pool towels We spent a lot of time on the nice terrace and down at the beach. You'll need to wear water shoes because there are large rocks as you enter the water. You can rent loungers and a canopy at the beach. There are many places for a meal or a snack all along the beach, at tourist prices.

The pool is spectacular: huge and immaculate! Glorious laps! There is also a large pool for children. No chairs or loungers at the pool, so you have to carry them down from the apartment yourselves.

We recommend getting into San Pedro proper to get a better idea of how the locals live. For the freshest fish ever, Pescaderia Miguel is just over the highway. The Municipal Market (Mercado Municipal) is where locals go for the freshest produce and meats. Visiting a typical Spanish market place is an experience in itself. These markets are only open in the morning, and stalls begin to close up by 1:30 pm, so get there early.

Lovely apartment, great location!

Very nice apartment, clean, spacious and great location. A 2 minute walk from San Pedro beach front, with it being September it was quite quiet in a morning but there are some lovely Restaurants on the beach front. The apartment is in a secure block, you can only enter with a key fob, we felt very safe. The swimming pool was really nice, the apartment had everything you'd need and the supermarket is a 2 minute walk away! Overall great stay, thank you!

Lovely & spacious apartment in central location, close to the beach

We stayed here for a week end July / start of August as a family of five. Sylvain is a lovely man & made us most welcome upon our arrival, taking time to show & explain everything we needed to know.

The apartment is very nice & as described, with good amenities & close to the beach_ would say prbaly the best one I have stayed at in Spain over several years. The underground car parking is a plus in the warmth of the summer, so if you have a car it is always cool.

There is a good lift system between the apartment as well as stairs, so it is not difficult to get about or move luggage to & from the car & so on.

The pool was lovely as well as the grounds. Lifeguard on duty much of the day.

Reference location, we found the area quiet, which we liked with some bars nearby & local supermarkets. It is also central for days out to Ronda, Estapona, Porto Banus or Gibraltar. Whatever takes you fancy, with good links to the main road system- coastal highway or auto route.

Our only niggle was with the master bedroom bed. We found it to be a little uncomfortable, though I accept this is very much person to person how they like their beds soft, hard or whatever.

Beautiful well equipped spotlessly clean and bright apartment !!

We arrived early on Sunday 1st of may and we were met by Sylvain..a lovely friendly guy..although the apartment was not ready Sylvain stowed our luggage and then guided us to lovely beach-side bar/restaurant where we had a lovely relaxing meal and of course a couple of the local beers..Back at the apartment Sylvain showed us around and and we settled in..He left a contact number and was on call 24hrs a day ..Outside was a beautiful garden and really inviting large pool....San Pedro town with all its bars and restaurants was only five minutes taxi ride away..cost about 7/8euros...within easy walking distance there were several bars restaurants and a large supermarket.. Also a lovely bread shop that also did great coffees! All in all we can all highly recommend the apartment and a big thank you to Sylvain for all his help and infectious smile.. Excellent location for beach and town

Having just spent 5 weeks in the apartment the plusses are the short walking distance to the Beach as well as the short distance to San Pedro town.

The help from Sylvain when needed was prompt and to our complete satisfaction.

The negative is: No Sun on our balcony, mainly due to the time of the year we were there (Feb.-March)

A nice, well-equipped apartment

The apartment is spacious and convenient. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Sylvain, the owner, took care of us really well.

The location is also very advantageous, right next to the beach and the long promenade, as well as downtown San Pedro. There is a number of good restaurants within walking distance.

San Pedro is just west of Marbella whose centre is a 10-minute drive away and within minutes of Puerto Banus. The journey to Malaga Airport is easy via the AP7 toll motorway (San Pedro has direct access) and takes around 35 minutes.

The town has plenty to offer in terms of amenities including a newly-built bus station offering direct connections to Malaga Airport; an attractive central boulevard that doubles as a large park and leisure area; excellent sporting facilities such as indoor pool, several tennis clubs and proximity to a long list of world-class golf courses; medical and dental clinics including state-run health centres; and a choice of international and Spanish schools. San Pedro beach boasts a blue flag and lies within easy reach of the town.

These include Los Arqueros with its unique mountain vistas, Los Flamingos, part of the luxury Villa Padierna development home to Villa Padierna Hotel, one of the only three six-star hotels in the country, and Monte Mayor set in a mountain landscape and offering one of the most challenging courses in the south of Europe.
