Perfect location in French Quarter!!!

  • 5 of 5

This house was a great choice, walk out your door and you are in the thick of things. The concept of two different houses separated by a courtyard was most enjoyable!! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. But who wants to cook in the French Quarter. Being so close to the action it was like your own own private hideaway. Petite Amelie was an extra bonus it actually bordered the property and served delicious breakfast and coffee. I would definitely rent this house again but recommend that a squeegee on a pole be supplied for the open wet room shower in the smaller house. Wear your flip flops it can get slippery!!!

Delightful French Quarter Property

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been happier with our stay. The property is historical with just the right modern touches and perfectly located in the French Quarter. Big kitchen, charming courtyard, and all the amenities you need. Beautifully appointed and very well run. A total gem. We will certainly be back!

Beautiful place in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

This house with the the open floor plan with kitchen/living room all open to courtyard. Big fridge, ice maker, gourmet appliances. It was perfect for 3 couples. 2 King bedrooms in main house, 1 queen in the quarters across the quaint courtyard. Each bedroom had its own spa like bathroom. The courtyard was perfect for hanging out before or after a day of walking the French quarter or Frenchman street. . You can walk everywhere from here and there is a rouses grocery right up the street. The house has tvs in every room and surround sound in main house and guest house. Complicated AV /cable set up, had a hard time working all the remotes and toggling between cable and pandora radio. Could have used a quick overview....great place!!!

Very lovely property which is conveniently located.

  • 5 of 5

A very old property which has been very nicely updated with modern amenities.

The outside maintains the overall look and feel of a house in the French Quarter.

The interiors still nod to the origins of the buildings and are very spacious.

We stayed here for 11 days for both weekends of jazz fest. The location was great! Close to bourbon st , Jackson square, French market and Frenchman street (dat dog is a must!) was a few blocks away. It's adjacent to royal street and all of the art galleries.

Street noise was not a problem it was very quiet and the courtyard was an oasis. There is the occasional parade or musician playing but that's part of the experience!

The furnishings were great and high end. Great people own and manage this home.

Highly recommend staying here.

Dynamic and picturesque, the French Quarter is the oldest settlement

in New Orleans and is central to the history and culture of the city. Home to New Orleans’ best-known restaurants, attractions, and events the French Quarter is a national treasure filled with vibrant retail activity and beautiful scenery year round. The French Quarter offers unique historic buildings, a steady influx of visitors and locals and a diverse mix of boutique retail along Royal and Chartres streets. National retailers such as Urban Outfitters and Chico’s on Decatur Street are also popular shopping destinations for locals and tourists.

Traditional restaurants such as Café Du Monde, Galatoire’s, Brennan’s,

and many others define the flavor of New Orleans. The “Quarter” enjoys a prominent status as the “must see” and shop area of New Orleans.

As an established Historic District, the French Quarter’s architecture is a protected asset—providing retailers the opportunity to occupy buildings of great historic and visual interest. With record setting tourism focused on the French Quarter, it has become a magnet for upscale boutiques, art galleries and entertainment venues.
