Had a group of us staying at a few of Ashley's cabins. All side by side. The cabins we stayed in were very nice cabin. I really liked that they were farther appart then most cabins i have stayed in before BUT they were private so iur whol group was abke to play kickball in the meadow and in the road sence there would be no one else coming down the private driveway. The cabins very clean and secluded. Yes, you coukd hear the hwy but there is a highway going through this town and Im pretty sure every cabin in Beaver Bend you can hear the high way. I would come back again! Loved this cabin
FIRST OFF, I would rent this cabin again.
Although the cabin itself is nice and in good shape, there were a few things rhat could have mane the stay worth 5 stars..... The furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable. The futon is well beyond its days of being soft. There was not enough utensils, a cabin that sleeps 6 people should have at least 6 forks spoons and knifes. Pots and pans are in rough shape as well. There were plenty towels just not enough full size towels. The ladies had to use the smaller hand towels to dry off after a shower. With all the SMALL issues we had, there was plenty of positive things as well. The cabin is in good shape and pretty cool in its layout. Everyone loved the beds and the bedrooms. We had a great stay and the owners were a pleasure to communicate with. The owners get a 5 star rating for sure and were easy and quick to communicate with.
The cabin was very clean, quiet, and comfortable.
The cabin was comfortable and we didn't feel crowded by neighbors.
You should really do improvements to the drive way as it is very hard to get in with and park your boat and or trailer. The gate entrance is overgrown and scratched my pickup on the top, overgrown and not trimmed back, and sides. The people staying at the big cabin at the gate had tables and chairs blocking entrance, told us there were no more cabins past them and that they had rented the whole area. Not true! We came back I walked down past the gate and there it was. I had to make them move tables and chairs so we could get by. They were rowdy and screamed and hollered all night. Overall cabin was ok sofa really needed to be vacuumed had me pay a double pet deposit but there was pet hair on couches ,so what was that for? Really need to change ac filters would improve inside air and I am sure help lower utilities.otherwise close to the lake and all town activities. Will stay, maybe not at this cabin, but others in the future. Kitchen nice, and lots of pots pans and dishware, master restroom small but functions, change that shower handle hard to get temp right at first.
The TV in the Master bedroom is not connected to the cable box. The AC unit stopped working on Friday at about 7:00 PM. We decided to Pack up & leave early instead of sweating it out all night. It's a nice little cabin & it's not far from the main road. The entrance road is very dusty.
