Truly A Montana Treat. Memories Were Made.

Very fun opening weekend of pheasant hunting with the boys. The house was clean and cozy just as seen in the photos. I could ramble about how much we loved the place but here were some highlights:

-back porch had breathtaking view of mountains (especially dusk/dawn)

-place is right on reservoir

-owners have left neat little touches all over the house from great taxidermy and artifacts, to cool interior design and family memorabilia

-secluded yet close to town

-ping-pong in garage

-bbq grill outside

-good cooking kitchen

-big open living room/dining room/kitchen made for good fellowship around dinner time

-owners were very friendly and accommodating. responded to any questions almost immediately.

-washer and dryer

-clean bathrooms

-nice tv and soundsystem

We had a great stay. The house was cozy, quiet, and gave us the home base we were looking for.

We played in the water, enjoyed the sun sets and watched the pelicans. It gave us some much needed family time. Nancy and Reb were so warm and welcoming. It will be a memory we will cherish. Thank you.

Excellent stay.

Spent a week at the West Nest and thoroughly enjoyed it. Reb was hospitable and took considerable time in walking through the home prior to and offering support during our stay. Highly recommend it for a getaway.

Amazing location, fantastic stay!

  • 5 of 5

We booked the house as we were competing in a race at the ski hill. This rental couldn't be a better spot if you plan on skiing. Located at a beautiful location on the way up to the hill, we couldn't have been more pleased. The owners were great with payment and deposit, and they were also more than friendly with directions to the home and instructions on entering. We would be more than happy to stay again, and hope we can make it an annual event!

The only drawback would be, although our children were not with us on this trip, those with small kids should be weary of the stairs. The railings and staircase are not kid friendly. But, what I suggest, is to leave the kids at home, relax and take in your beautiful surroundings with the floor to ceiling windows and fantastic porch. This rental truly is a gem!

Fantastic house, friendly & helpful owner

  • 5 of 5

This was our favourite holiday location during this year's summer vacation.

Reb was extremely reliable and helpful introducing us to his great house.

The place is very very beautiful and lovely furnitured, we immediately felt at home.

Although the reservoir was only filled to about one third of its maximum size, it is home to many animals, we had great fun walking around it. All in all a perfect place for everyone seeking a remote, high quality location to relax or as a base to go hiking.
