Perfect place for a couple's getaway!

Nice way to spoil yourself

We were used to staying in town and going back and forth every day to the resort on past visits. This saved about an hour each way so it made us more relaxed and less hurried every day. It was great having convenient ski-in/ski-out access with the ski locker room just inside the door leading to the ski trail. There was no option to the $14 extra charge each day for parking so they should just include that in the condo charge (you could park in town for free and take the condo shuttle back and forth but how many people would do that?). It was so warm that we left the heat off the whole five days and occasionally opened the balcony door to cool it off, especially in the morning when gearing up to ski. It is centrally located in the village which provides easy access to anything else. It has the same low light levels that too many places have - why is it that people think that 60 watt bulbs provide enough light?

Owner's Response: You'll never stay in town again, now that you've had the ease and convenience of staying at the base. It does give you more ski time and less wasted travel time. For the parking, we have many guests who take the shuttle and don't have a vehicle, so we don't include the cost of parking in the cost of the lodging. If a shuttle would work for you, please consider letting us help you book Home James from the airport and back. One drawback of having the slope views is the afternoon sunshine that heats up the properties. You did the best thing, opening the windows to get some of that fresh mountain air. Sorry the lighting was low. We are going to suggest higher watt bulbs to the owner.

Perfect location!

I stayed 3 nights and it was perfect! This unit is on the 2nd floor of the Slopeside building which is great for getting onto the zephyr lift. The unit was very comfortable and had everything I needed in the kitchen. The towels were perfect in the bathroom and the shower worked great. The bed was comfortable too. My son slept on the sleeper sofa and said it was a typical sleeper sofa. He got cold, however, because there wasn't a blanket for the sleeper. Check out time is 10:00 but I stayed until closer to 11:00 because my ride back to the airport wasn't until 11:15. I left before housekeeping came. Overall, a great stay!
