The apartment is on the second floor (3rd by American standards) and boasts an 11ft (3.75m) high ceilings with gorgeous original wood beams, parquet flooring, fire place, modern fully equipped kitchen and a big combined living /dining room space. Lisa was the sole owner of 3 award-winning Bed and Breakfast destinations and a Partner and General Manager of a 48-room, luxury boutique hotel in Austin, Texas for more than a decade. Most recently, Lisa was the head of a thriving hospitality group with multiple properties in a range of locations and hundreds of employees. Perfection. It's the best word to describe Alexandra's flat. It's gorgeous, clean, convenient, and cozy. My husband, two boys, and I felt at home from the moment beautiful Asha welcomed us. We felt incredibly safe in the flat and in the surrounding area, which we thoroughly explored. The proximity to the Louvre and the Jardin is unbelievable. I can't say thank you enough for providing us such a wonderful place to call home over the Christmas holiday. And allowing us to use the phone to call the states on Christmas was a wonderful gift. Especially to our parents (grandparents) who were extremely happy to hear from us. We can't wait to return!
The apartment was in a PERFECT location! A 5 minute walk to the Gardens & Louvre. 1/2 block from the Monoprix (European version of Target) and the TI (Tourist Information was 1/2 block too) plus the Pyramides metro stop was within 1/2 block! We couldn't have enjoyed our stay or apartment more! The apartment itself was just as described and cute as a button! Our teenage kids (15 & 17) loved the loft for their own space. The bed in the bedroom was fantastic. Everything you could need was in the apartment and I will absolutely book this apartment again when we come back to Paris. The Viatour office was about 2 blocks away for our trip to Normandy so we couldn't have asked for a better location!! Plus we walked about 15 minutes and were at the RER-C train station to Versaille.
Patricia was great, she gave us all the information we needed and Lisa was always prompt and really informative whenever we communicated. We loved the charm of this apartment and the ability to open those amazing windows to see/hear Parisian life. Yes, the kids next door could be a little loud during the day, but it just added to the charm and authenticity of the building and apartment. You're right in the middle of Paris! You can book this property with confidence.
As a side note, leave your hairdryer at home. Lisa has an awesome Babyliss that you can use. I nearly blew up my Sedu because it isn't dual voltage but I was happy to put it away and use the apartment's hair dryer. Make sure your hair styling tools are dual voltage...thankfully my straightener was!
Loft is fine for sleeping but tight to stand in. Great for kids but a bit difficult for older people. Steep steps and then crawl to bed,
However, loved the rest of the apartment and enjoyed our stay.

This apartment was exactly as advertised. Communications with owner and manager were easy and very prompt. We had everything we needed. It was warm in June and noisy when we opened the windows because there is a school nearby. It didn't bother us because we were gone during the day. Great location close to the park and the Louvre. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Great neighborhood. A very comfortable stay. Manager was incredibly helpful and informative at check in. We would stay again.
Easy walking distance to Louvre, cafe's, Place Vendome, public transport, etc. The apartment is pretty much just like the pictures; clean, elegant, charming, and functional. Joanna and Sonja were exceptionally accommodating, gracious and efficient in their communication and hospitality. We'd definitely stay here again.

Old building, nice apartment, spacious, high roofs, very clean, good beds, excellent service: all at a good price.
No elevator but just a flight of stairs.
Great location, less than one block away from Rue St. Honoré, one block away from Rue Rivoli, the Louvre and Avenue de L’Ópera.
Parking and Metro Station very close.
The location of this apartment is wonderful. Not only centrally located in no. 1 but also a half a block away from the supermarket, close to 2 metro stops, and some really good restaurants. The apartment was very comfortable for the three of us. One flight up, a well stocked kitchen and many of the comforts of being in a nice home. The management company was professional, efficient and very quick with responding to my questions. We were met at the apartment and given the information we needed to make this a very comfortable stay for us.

Please note there are neither sales nor bed tax to charge you on top of your rate. Due to our buildings regulations, we do have a mandatory insurance damage waiver which is $50 and covers up to $3000 worth of damage during your stay. Payment can be made via Home Away Secure or credit card with a deposit of 25% at the time of booking and full payment due 30 days prior to check in. We cannot guarantee the dates until the deposit is made. Our cancellation policy states that if you cancel prior to 30 days before check-in, the deposit will be returned minus a $250 processing fee. In the case of cancellation, after full payment is made and within 30 days of check in, we will refund the entire payment only if we successfully re-book the entire duration of the reserved dates.
