Come experience some peace and quiet in our newly built one bedroom unit. Enjoy the beautiful hardwood floors, granite countertops in kitchen and bath, stainless steal appliances, comfortable furniture and bed, and secluded covered deck. Guest maximum is 4, 2 in bedroom and 2 in living room on a pull-out queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. We also allow pets, with an additional $50 pet fee charged. Walk our lovely neighborhood and easily walk or drive into downtown White Salmon and visit wonderful restaurants, the brew pub, natural food market, new bakery, coffee spots and remodeled grocery store. A Very Nice Condo! Great Location

We had a very nice White Salmon/Hood River weekend with this condo being home base. My only regret is the beautiful view was behind us. Not accessible from our outside area. We did have a nice garden to enjoy while sitting outside.

Cute little place, with amazing views

We stayed at Michaels place during our trip through White Salmon. The casita is small unite above their garage. The owner lives on the property next to the unit. The unit has a small living room and kitchen that is well stocked with the basics. Simple breakfast and dinner can be made. The shower door is unique but nothing you can't get used to quickly. The property sits above the town of White Salmon and is about a 5 minute drive down to the main street area. The town is very cute and quant and has plenty to offer. The views from the local street has amazing views of Mt Hood on a clear day and is very quiet in the evening. One note on the unit, is while it state there is an AC unit inside the rental its in the living room area and a small desk fan is used in the bedroom for ventilation as well as the large windows. Not a deal breaker, but on a hot summer evening could be an issue. Would recommend for future renters

My wife Paula and I have been married 28 spectacular years. We have a 22 year old daughter and 19 year old son. We met in Hood River, OR and have lived in the gorge ever since. This is a fantastic place to live and raise a family. Paula is retired from a Senior Vice President job at a leading educational software company and I am self employed as an owner and property manager of our real estate portfolio. Our family loves all the outdoor recreation our area has to offer and we also love to travel for skiing, water sports and cultural diversity. Location, location, location, that is the reason to choose to stay here! Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The rolling hills provide for a great walk and being less than one mile from town is a great bonus. you can walk to the nearby tennis courts or into town for a bite or a drink. Or simply relax on the covered porch and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature. The views of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hood are simply spectacular from different viewpoints in the neighborhood And from one of the bedroom windows you get a great peak directly down the Gorge looking west down the river!

What makes this property unique

If you are wanting an adventure filled weekend or week, you have come to the right place. Just outside your door you can road bike, mountain bike, hike, windsurf or kite board, stand up paddle board, waterski, whitewater kayak, or rock climb. A short drive will take you to Mt Hood for great skiing and snowboarding. Or stay in the gorge and enjoy all the wineries on either the Oregon side or the Washington side of the river. Whatever you choose to do during your stay, you will enjoy coming back to your quiet oasis to relax and snooze.
