See separate tabs at top, conveniently located, residential street and only 4 minutes from West Finchley underground station taking you straight into Central London in 20 minutes. It has a direct link to Kings Cross and very convenient for Eurostar. High quality accommodation consists of an extremely large studio with kitchenette, lounge, bed area and with a beautiful en-suite bathroom with shower, marble floors, granite shelves and high spec fittings. The kitchenette includes a fridge, hob and cooker with a small table and chairs for dining.

The 1 Bed Apartment has wooden flooring and a separate lounge, kitchen and bedroom. Can sleep 5.

Locally, there is excellent shopping, a shopping centre and conveniently located for Hampstead and busy Camden.

Street Parking outside the property is free. Other facilities include a large TV with many cable channels. Wireless Cable Broadband is also available.

General Area of Finchley Central: It is a very clean and tidy apartment and it is in the London suburb called Finchley which is a very safe and nice area. It is located in a quiet residential road away from passing traffic or train noise.

In terms of amenities, the apartment is approximately 4 minutes walk to West Finchley tube station and there are a few shops including a sweet shop and a small supermarket where you can buy the basics. Then, about 10 minutes walk (or there are bus services from the top of the road), there is Finchley Central or North Finchley which has Tesco’s, Waitrose and Sainsbury's supermarkets. They also have the full range of banks and building societies. North Finchley has more extensive shopping facilities including a very wide range of general shops, cafes and restaurants and should be able to cater for all of your needs.

Facilities and local bus: The apartments are very well situated in West Finchley only minutes from the underground station which takes you straight into central London without changing. It is 25 minutes from Kings Cross (approx 2.5 hours from Paris!!).

There are also buses at the top of my road and excellent shopping facilities nearby. If you decided to hire a car there are no parking restrictions or parking charges as there would be in central London, as you can park for free outside the house.

About 15-20 minutes by bus from top of road is Brent Cross shopping centre in Hendon which has all of the main shops including John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and all of the mainstream fashion shops and well known high street chains and has extensive options of places to eat. This is an enclosed shopping centre (and so you don't have to worry about the weather) and there is a bus (the 326) which runs from the top of my road (1-2 minute walk) and takes you directly to the shopping centre where it terminates.

Within easy Reach by Tube: Hampstead on the Northern Line has a vast choice on offer. It is an extremely pretty suburb of London. On one side it has countless restaurants, cafés, bars, cinemas, pancakes, shops and theatre and on the other side it has Hampstead Heath with breathtaking views of London, a teahouse in an old English mansion and beautiful walks through very pretty parkland. This is one of the prettiest parks in North London. This is one of the most expensive and exclusive suburbs of London and I find it very pleasurable just walking through some of the residential areas to see the houses, many of which are absolutely fabulous (I can dream!).

Just a stop away from Hampstead is Belsize Park (but is also a pleasant walk from Hampstead) which is a very pleasant up market area with many restaurants. Then another stop away on the underground is the well known district of Camden. This is home to the very famous Camden Lock Market, which has a vast array of stalls and shops on offer and is very near.

This is a 1 / 2 bedroom apartment that contains a large double bedroom, very large kitchen, comfortable lounge, dining area and garden.

The main bedroom has a standard double bed, the option of a single pull down bed and another fold-down bed, sleeping 4 max.

The 2nd sleeping area is in the dining room where we have a double sofa bed and an additional fold-away single bed can be used, sleeping 3.

Excellent lounge with sofa's TV, DVD etc. A further single bed can be placed in this room sleeping 1.

The total sleeping capacity is 8 persons.

Large kitchen/dining room, with a table that can sit 6 people, with granite worktops, 2 ovens, a microwave, fridge and freezer and is comprehensively equipped, where you have everything that you need for cooking and dining.

Bathroom with an excellent power shower and toilet.

A simple garden with a lawn and patio allowing you to relax outside, weather permitting.

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside, but is ok in the garden.

Penthouse Studio 9-17 July

This apartment was perfect for 2 people visiting London. It is very close to the underground Train station and a short walk to stores and places to eat. The apartment is clean and comfortable. We had access to a washing machine, dryer and the internet.

The only drawback was poor lighting to sit and read in the evenings.

perfect location, close to tube

We stayed in the ground floor flat for just over 1 week and it was a perfect location to see all the sights of London. We are a family of 5 and there was enough room for all of us. The tube was only a 5 minute walk away and it was on a line that took us right to central London in about 20 minutes. The neighbourhood is residential, quiet and safe. Grocery stores are not too far away and it was convenient to have a kitchen for breakfasts and occasional meals. I appreciated Russell providing us a lot of detailed information prior to our arrival.

Superb Accomodations

This was our first time in London and this garden apartment was exactly what we had hope it would be. The rooms were large and very comfortable and we enjoyed having a glass of wine sitting in the back yard. It is on a very quiet street but it is only a few blocks away from the subway station where we could get into downtown London in only 20 minutes. We were there for a week and we saw all the sights and having a kitchen where we could cook some of our meals really helped with our budget. We were really impressed with the property manager because the smoke alarm started beeping one evening and he was there within 10 minutes to fix it. We would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful rental near Finchley tube station

We normally stay with friends in the Finchley area, but were worried about their stairs with my 86 yr old mom. I was quite happy when I found this rental within walking distance of our friend's flat. The 4 of us stayed in the ground foor flat. My kids and I had the bedroom and my mom was on a bed near the kitchen. The bedroom has a full or queen size bed and a twin size Murphy bed. My son found a couple of rolling beds, which we did not use. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen has been renovated and is beautiful. There is a big refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave...anything you would want in a modern kitchen. The living room had plenty of room to sit and a nice big TV to enjoy at night after we were in for the day. There is a washer in the flat and the dryer is just outside the door. While we were there, the owner brought over a drying rack, which was put to good use. We put it under the skylight in the kitchen to help dry things. The flat is walking distance to the West Finchley tube station. It is a small station and we never saw anyone in the booth to help if there was a problem. It takes about 20 mins or so to reach central London, which is quite nice to be able to stay outside of the hub-bub of this very busy city. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this flat to all.

It was OK.

The penthouse studio would have been just right for the three of us, but it looked like someone didn’t take enough time to clean it up and prepare it for the next incoming guests. The tableware and cutlery could have been more clean, likewise the rug, which hosted quite a lot of foreign peoples hair. The apartment has two refrigerators, but only one of them was in the condition to been used. Unfortunately we first had to clean it up, because it was flooded with at least two litres of water upon our arrival.

But we’ve appreciated the free and good working wifi-access, the washing machine and the huge range of information about the apartment and all the London attractions, Mr. Jacob sent to us in advance.

All in all, the flat was a good base to discover London, with little reductions in the quality of cleanliness.
