The flat itself is charming and filled with items from our family’s interesting collection. It certainly is not a typical London vacation property. The flat is on the second floor of a small, restored three story building. It is a very easy walk up. This is a unique property. The goal for this property was to create the perfect space to spend a successful stay in London. It is one of those flats that makes a visitor say “I wish we could stay here just one more week.” The photographers walked into the flat and both said “Wow, this is nice!”
The LOUNGE has a wonderful feeling about it: comfortable furnishings, glass dining table with six chairs, TV, internet, beautiful hardwood floors, and amazing lamps and walls covered in fabulous 19th century Vanity Fair prints. The large sofa is a queen size pull out sofa. The room exudes charm and quality. The kitchen has all machines and is modern in every way. Everything you need for preparing meals is found in the cupboards. There are two bathrooms: the en suite master bathroom has a very stylish tub with hand-held shower, sink, and loo. The second bathroom has a shower stall, sink, and loo and has high quality fixtures. The master bedroom is lovely, it has a queen sized bed which is perfect for a couple. The second bedroom is designed for absolute flexibility: amazing cupboard space, a single bed which can turn into twin beds. Both bedrooms are warm, enticing, and very comfortable. Please enjoy the tunics/ coats from the Irish and Scottish guards that hang on the walls in both bedrooms; they are colorful and unusual. When you are the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, you will see similar tunics on the palace guards. The London Connection highly recommends this property. It is one of the finest 2-bedroom/2-bathroom properties we have ever offered.. I am very proud of it—it has a lot of interest and enjoyment built in.

The Mayfair flat was accessible to many shops, restaurants, banks, pharmacy., and about a 10 min walk to flagship M&S. The apartment was ready to go per the description. Especially helpful was an excellent central aircon, as the daytime August temp was 90 degrees. Many hotels in the area do not have properly working aircon, so this apartment was the envy of all my friends.
The owners, London Connection, were very accessible through the entire process, beginning to end. They London manager was very reponsive to all of my requests. I would not hesitate to book this apartment again, or any other flat through this company.
Living in comfort and great style in the heart of London is the best way to enjoy a London holiday or business trip. The old adage “Location, Location, Location” is certainly true. We at the London Connection have just completed the decoration for a new property for our visitors to London. It is perfect and flexible in every way. The location is near New Bond Street, in the midst of everything beautiful in Mayfair. The shops are wonderful, the restaurants are outstanding, and the sandwich shops and wine bars are very convenient. A short and easy walk will take you to Regent Street and on to Shaftesbury Avenue for the best London theaters. Transportation is convenient with the ever-present taxi and with the Bond Street Tube Station. It is perfect. This is “high class” living while in London.
