Beautiful views, Relaxing, wonderful place to be!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first visit to this Florida area and Pamela was extremely helpful giving us ideas of things to do and places to go. She would follow up to make sure we didn't have any problems. The river house is situated on a beautiful piece of property right on the river with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and having coffee every morning on the beautiful Lanai and watching the fish jump out of the water. We were lucky enough to see the dolphins! The river house is located right in the heart of everything you could need. It is very close to different types of shopping drug stores and very close to the interstate so you can make a lot of different day trips. Pamela directed us to some of the really great restaurants in the area too! We are already looking forward to our next trip! Thank you for everything Pamela.

Owner's Response: It is always my top priority to make my guests feel it is truly a home away from home. A place they want to create memories from and come back to. It is my pleasure to have you Kathy & Tom, as our guests, as well as going above & beyond with the extras that you did. See you in a year :)

A place in paradise

  • 5 of 5

There is nothing but great things to be said about Pamela's place on the Manatee River. We stayed in Dec. 2016 and we're able to spend Christmas with all our kids and new grand kids. It was the first time in years to be able to spend it with them who all live within a hours drive. The lanai has some of the most spectacular views of the sunset and sun rises you will ever see. It was a very nice and quiet community with very friendly people we meet walking or doing the laundry. The location is perfect with stores, resturants and easy access to I-75 very close by. Pamela the owner was so kind and helpful with her knowledge of the area and would answer any questions that we had. We have had the opportunity to travel over the years and this was the most enjoyable vacation we have ever had. We are lucky to be going back the end of February and into March. Bottom line first class place and first class owner. We hope to book a couple times a year for years to come, perfect place for us.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at the 'Riverhouse' for the month of March, 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The 'Riverhouse' is very comfortable and well equipped. As mentioned by other reviewers, the views were/are spectacular. When we sat in the lanai, it felt like we were watching a great nature program on a really large screen television. We were able to launch our kayaks directly from the trailer park and enjoyed paddling on the Manatee River. All the services we needed, (groceries, drug store, restaurants, hardware store etc.) were located very close to the trailer park and were easily accessible. We used the swimming pool at the trailer park almost daily. We were also able to explore the areas adjacent to the park on our bikes. At times, when the wind was blowing our way, there was some background traffic noise from the interstate but it never bothered us.

The owner, Pamela, was exceptionally helpful and responsive. She not only made sure we had everything we needed but also provided useful information on activities and events in the area that we might like to check out.

From this location, we were able to do day trips to many of the beaches both south and north of Bradenton/Ellenton. There was quite a bit of traffic and we had to learn to 'time' our crossings of the bridges, but with a bit of planning and patience, it was no problem. We particularly enjoyed going over to the G.T. Bray Park in Bradenton and exercising in the gym there and swimming in their 50 metre outdoor pool which is heated year round.

Overall, we had a great experience and booked to come back next year before we left.

Owner's Response: Your return cannot come too soon, as the fish are jumping and the dolphins are playing during sunrise. As the sign reads in the Riverhouse..."You are where your suppose to be" See you again soon.

Affordable and highly recommended!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at Pamela's River House the whole month of February 2016. We highly recommend this place. It is located immediately on the shore of Mannatee River and the views from every place in this mobile home are gorgeous. The whole park is very quiet and Pamela, the owner, has been totally dedicated in making our stay a most enjoyable experience.
