We stayed for one week. Everything more than met our expectations. The only issue we had was the availabilty of hot water for showers. We were told on the front end that the hot water heater was small and Sara is in the process of upgrading the system . We would not hesitate to return or recommend the home to others.
I went to Utah for an operation at the U of U. Doc gave me very specific orders to stay down and not move as i was actively internally bleeding and shouldn't move until the operation. Extreme pain as i had a 11 mil kidney stone stuck that needed to be removed. The day i was to stay here before my operation the AC unit upstairs went out.
She had people come into the apartment to fix the unit and told me to go to a movie or something while they were there. The repair men were blowing out hoses and using chemicals that made it so we were unable to even breath inside the room. The men working on the room told me i would need to be gone until at least 6pm for the smell to go away. That was a total of 7 hours out of my room i was suppose to roam the city. We repeatedly told her our concerns and just kept getting rushed "yeah yeah I'll deal with it" reply's that never came about.
I was told she would get me a hotel room to make up for it but this happened during the Doterra event and everything was booked out. She then told me she would refund my money since i had to pay 4x as much for a new room because almost every single hotel in SLC was booked out.
End of story is there was no refund and she even charged us for the full thing with cleaning even tho the stay was less then 12 hours before we were forced to move on.
There was zero compassion that I was in incredible pain and 600 miles from home with little or no options. The home is cozy and in a great location. The owner is just a cold greedy individual. I wouldn't support these people again.
Late reply post as my wife told me she would post this for me and then forgot.
My daughter, sister, and I thought the place was very nice, and we loved the neighborhood and how close it was to everything. The only thing we could have done without was the noise coming from upstairs in the morning. I would recommend it to my friends but would have to let them know to use the earplugs. :)
Thank you so much!
Really a great place to stay whether on vacation or business. Spacious, clean, modern and conveniently located. Host, Sara, is very helpful.
This is a thoughtfully appointed apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. Sara and her husband could not have been friendlier. Although we were only there two days, this apartment exceeded my expectations. Comfortable bed, washer/ dryer, full refrigerator and about 16 minutes from the Airport. The nearby restaurant Hub and Spoke was one of the best on our trip. If I return to Salt Lake I hope to stay there again.
We were in town for some training at a facility in the nearby research park. This location was ideal for that, as we could walk over to the facility in the morning through a nice tree lined family neighborhood. There was a grocery store and restaurant a short walk away. The basement apartment was nicely appointed with full kitchen, a bathroom with tub/shower, a main room with pull out couch and a separate bedroom. There was also a BBQ outside that we could use. Very pleased with our stay and the cost was substantially less than hotels in the area.
