Our apartment is in a lovely complex that boasts both a swimming pool and a fully equipped gymnasium. The apartment is tastefully furnished and has air conditioning throughout. It has all mod cons in the kitchen including a microwave and washing machine. There is satellite TV and DVD player for those evenings in with a large selection of current DVDs and a CD player. There is also free wi-fi within the apartment. There is a balcony that runs the width of the apartment with access from both the lounge and the master bedroom through french windows. The view from the balcony is of the sea and countryside. It is a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the centre of the village and is set in a very quite, peaceful area.

There are many other fantastic places on the island to visit. Nicosia is a 30 minute drive and well worth a visit. The glorious beaches of Ayia Napa and lively nightlife is a 20 minute drive away and you can reach Paphos in just over an hour. The Troudos mountains are also within an hours drive and are a must for any visitor.

We live in a small village in Buckinghamshire and have been going to Cyprus on holiday for a number of years. We work in the car and film industry so are always busy and spend a lot of time travelling in the UK and farther afield.

Why Karen Goulding chose Oroklini

We fell in love with Cyprus on our first visit, it is a beautiful island that just keeps on giving, there are always new things to see and the people are so friendly. We loved this apartment when we first saw the plans. We bought it before it was built but saw the location and knew it would be fantastic. We particularly liked the layout of the apartment and the fact that it was really big for a two bedroom apartment. It was also important for us to be in a quiet location and have a nice balcony with lovely views. We still remember the first time we walked into it when it had been built. The view from the lounge and main bedroom was and still is fantastic and we love being there.

What makes this apartment unique

It is a great size for a two bedroom apartment with a lovely open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room. The village is great and it's closeness to Larnaca and many of the interesting places to visit on the Island is a real benefit

This is a lovely holiday home. Its a very spacious apartment that has everything you need for a great holiday. There was plenty of room for 5 of us and the pool and surrounding areas were fabulous. The village is lovely and Larnaca is close by with lots of bars and tavernas. Karen was extremely helpful - we'll be back!

we have family in Oroklini and it was idea for us , very clean and tidy in a good position for us , probable need a car though , pool was clean , new sun beds had just arrived , did everything we needed and with a twelve year old boy with us it had good wi-fi

Lovely spacious apartment

The apartment is spacious and comfortable and, not being overlooked at the front, is light and bright even although only on the first floor. The building has a lift so would probably suit those with mobility problems. It's about a 20 minute drive from Larnaca Airport and just a short drive from the motorway so well located for visiting around this part of Cyprus.

The village facilities are a bit scattered so a car is probably essential but a walk of 10 minutes or so will take you to a choice of places to eat.

There is a selection of books, DVDs and beach equipment available for use by guests and there is satellite TV thought the range of stations, as in many Cyprus rentals, is a bit limited.

Karen was really helpful with speedy answers to our various enquiries (yes, there's a hair dryer!) and it was good to meet Jenny, the local contact in the village who ensured that the apartment was spotless for our arrival.

We had a lovely time in Karen's apartment. It's modern, clean, well appointed and in a nice quiet location. The nearby village has several excellent tavernas and shops. Excellent communication and everything worked out perfectly

Perfect apartment in Oroklini

Lovely large and bright apartment. Large balcony overlooking the fields and the sea in the distance.

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Oroklini and contains everything you need for a perfect holiday, ranging from TV / DVD to kitchen equipment.

Oroklini is a lovely small town with supermarkets, tavernas, bars and a 7 * 24 hour bakery :)

The town is relatively close to the motorway, which means that you can quickly get to Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Nicosia etc.

Karen (the owner) is a very nice person, and was really helpful during our booking proces, and whenever we needed help.

We had a great time, and can highly recommend the apartment and would gladly return.

Sea View Valley Apartment

Highly recommended. Large apartment and very comfortably. We are a family of four but could easily accommodate another two. The apartment is very well equipped. There are, from the balcony, distant views of the sea. Great sized pool and also has a shallow end for under fives. Oroklini is a lovely modern greek village and has all that would be required for a nice family holiday, tavernas, supermarkets, banks etc. All in all, a lovely village in an excellent apartment. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant apartment! Great location!

Enjoyed a fantastic family holiday in this apartment in early 2010. The apartment is very large with a good balcony with great views. The apartment is very well equipped with everything for a family holiday even down to snorkels and beach balls for the kids. The complex was very quiet and the people that we did see were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the fact that the village had some lovely tavernas, particularly the Mandras Tavern but was very close to Larnaca with all the extra facilities there. Managed to find some lovely beaches close by and explored the Island. The owner, Karen was very helpful before our holiday and everything was as she described it. We will definitely come again

Oriklini is a lovely Cypriot village just 7km from the cosmopolitan city of Larnaca. The village is surrounded by countryside and hills. The village has several lovely tavernas and bars which offer traditional Cypriot food and entertainment. It is definitely a place where you can watch the world go by while enjoying a drink or meal with friends. The village has a supermarket and bank and all amenities for your holiday. There is a go-kart centre nearby and horse riding close to the village. Oriklini is a great location for exploring the beautiful island of Cyprus. The local 'blue flag' beach is a 5 minute drive away and Larnaca is 10 minutes away. Larnaca has a proliferation of restaurants and bars, many of them overlooking the sea and is a buzzing city at night.

Activities to take part in this area include horse and donkey rides, mountain biking, quad biking and watersports on the beach. There are also fantastic walks with great scenery up and around Oriklini Hill.
