Welcome to your 1700 square ft vacation getaway situated on 2 acres! Located 4 miles south of Interstate 40 between Flagstaff and Williams ( Gateway to Grand Canyon)! EASY self check in with keypad!! Central location to the astounding beauty of Northern Arizona. Property has play ground for kids including, trampoline, swing set, slide, geo dome, and tire swing! Adjust the thermostat how you like it in each room with new Hydronic heating system through out house, or cuddle up next to the cozy wood stove. House has 3 bedrooms two family/ living rooms and two bathrooms. plus and additional room that can serve as a bedroom with 2 twin beds. Fully stocked kitchen and laundry room, everything you need to feel at home! Look out into Garland Prairie for elk and deer! Watch the humming birds from the deck, Immediate access to forest service roads and trails. Bring your 4 wheelers or take a walk to nearby Scholz lake out the back door (approx. 10 min.). Summer time is beautiful in Northern Arizona, beat the heat and come enjoy fresh mountain air. Winter season provides cross- country skiing out the door, skiing at Snowbowl (Flagstaff) or Bill Williams Mt. (Williams) -
This location will provide you with rest and relaxation after all your activities! Approx 60 miles from the grand canyon entrance. Dish satellite TV 139 channels with sports package, great cell phone service. You will drive on 4 mlies of dirt road to get to home, well maintained by the county, rural area but home is in a neighborhood with a few neighbors that are acres apart. You will love the peace and quiet and the fresh air. There are 2 stores about 5 miles away that serve food and have gas and groceries. 17 miles to Flagstaff, 14 miles to Williams, 40 miles to Sedona. Master bedroom has king bed and attached bath, 2nd bedroom is a queen bed, 3rd bedroom has bunk bed with double bed on bottom and twin on top. There is a bonus room with 2 twin beds, as well as 2 full size air mattresses in the closet. 2 acre yard is fenced for your dogs! Fire pit and BBQ grill too!!

Great place to go for getaway

Very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the scenery and stars at night . Great place for families.

Outdoor heaven

My family and I had the greatest time at this Parks location. It is close to Williams and Flagstaff. The remote feature...if you are a star gazer, this place is for you. My eight year old granddaughter rated this location five stars. The best feature is that the location is close to the forest preserve and the hiking trail is great. My dogs gave that a five wags rating. If I plan another trip for Northern Arizona, I will use this location again.

Spacious and great for our dogs

The house was nice and clean and good size for us, our three teens and dogs. The large yard is fenced and our dogs could have stayed out there all day! My teens didn’t quite appreciate it as much because of the no wi-fi. We have AT&T and I was hoping for better service but it was hit and miss to say the least. Next time we’ll just leave the teens at home! Lol

Perfect Family Location

We had a great stay at Chris's property. Almost everything we needed was available in the home. The only thing we found would be helpful is a measuring cup (there could have been one and I just did not find it) and a clearer address visible from the street. We recommend this property and are considering booking a stay over the summer.

My wife and a have been in Flagstaff since we were young, we went to Flagstaff high school. We married and moved to Parks to enjoy the space and beauty. We have 2 small children and both work full time jobs. We moved back to Flagstaff for the kids activities and to be a bit closer to work but could not part with our country home that we love so we decided to share it with others in order to be able to keep it. Flagstaff is only about 20 min from Parks.

Why they chose this property

We loved the calm and quietness of the country side and simplistic living away from the busy city life.

What makes this property unique

We wanted space to have pets (they came first) and places for the kids (they were next) to play. We love to garden you will see my glorious Clematis, Columbine, trees and numerous wild flowers. We enjoy to sit by the campfire on a still evening and gaze at the night sky. Fully covered deck with furniture, picnic table, plenty of lawn chairs.
