Perfect Home Away From Home For Up To 5 People: Families Welcome!

Charming 2bd/1ba apartment with faux hardwood floors throughout. Immaculate interior with freshly remodeled bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen. New dual pane windows, ceiling fans, stove and microwave. Garage parking for one car. Free high speed Internet and cable tv. Only 10 blocks from the beach, 8 minutes to Long Beach Convention Center and 30 – 45 minutes to Disneyland (18 miles away.)

This property sleeps 6 people. There is a bunk bed in one bedroom, a full bed in the other bedroom and there is a sofa-bed for a couple more to sleep in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals and has all pots/pans and dishes etc. to accommodate home cooking and eating.

Long Beach is where I chose to live because it is centrally located and has some of the nicest weather in Southern California. This particular property has been completely remodeled on the inside and even the front door is brand new. It has been furnished to provide a comfortable, inexpensive place for families, couples and single travelers to stay while in the area.

Nice clean apartment.

I loved this apartment it was a very clean, and friendly place. The manager Ann was very helpful. Even tho it was on a busy road I did not hear a lot at night I would recommend this for an extended stay in Long Beach

Good base for attractions around L A.

It was fine as a base to see the attractions around L A. Could use a little larger bed in bedroom 1 and maybe invest in a foam mattress pad. Also could use a little more counter space in bathroom and bedrooms.

Great rental for families to SoCal

My family stayed here for 3 weeks in July/August 2016 and it was a great choice. We have a 4 year old and 8 month old and were able to give each of them a room while we stayed on the rather comfortable pullout in the living room. The apartment was clean and had all the basics you need, lots of towels and extra sheets. Having our own garage was a huge bonus - not having to search for parking every night with two little kids was wonderful and a rare find.

As other reviewers have said, the neighbours can be rather loud in the evening - I think it's the ones next door and above who played their music, tv and video games exceptionally loud. It was usually off by 11pm and with the AC units running it wasn't a huge bother, but was a minor annoyance.

The location was great for us - close to the 405 and 30 minutes to both Orange County/Anaheim and LA. It's also close to the aquarium and the water, as well as grocery stores, restaurants and Starbucks. That said, I wouldn't say it's a wonderful neighbourhood but we weren't hanging around that much and it was fine for our purposes.

Peter is highly responsive and judging by previous comments, truly listens to feedback to improve the unit. Complaints below have been addressed and when I mentioned that the only room without an AC unit (with bunk bed) was rather warm, he thanked me for the feedback and said he would purchase a new fan for the room. Property manager Ann was also terrific and always responded quickly to questions and requests.

Great place but not for more than 4 people

This is a beautiful property with a great location but the description was a little misleading. There was no "sofa-bed for a couple more to sleep in the living room". The only furniture in the living room is a small love seat and over-sized chair. When I asked the property manager, I was pointed to a folding cushion which could be put on the floor - more of a lawn chair cover than a bed.

Everything else about the place was great. Perfect for family with 2 kids but the write-up really needs to be corrected -- does not sleep 6!

Owner's Response: We're sorry the Japanese-style futon was not good for you. Immediately after you left, I purchased a new full-size sofa bed which sleeps 2 adults comfortably. So the apartment does sleep 6. The bunk bed and the bed in the bedroom are smallish. The bunk bed is intended for children. The double bed is intended for adults. We're learning from your feedback, so thank you for letting us know!

The inside of the apartment was very clean and updated .

The apartment was very clean looked like it was newly painted . The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes , pots and pans. The inside was very nice but

if I had seen a view of the outside I probably would not have rented it. The outside of the building is in great need of an upgrade.

This property is near the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Anaheim Street. It is close to downtown long beach, and the traffic circle. It is fairly close to freeways and is about 30 - 45 minutes from Disneyland. There is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. The weather is nearly always pleasant. The Queen Mary and the Convention Center are only about 2 miles away.
