Located on the lower level of our house, this apartment is ideal for people who want the convenience of the suburbs with the proximity to everything in Kansas City. We take great pride in providing the best quality furniture and supplies to give our guests the best experience. We have equipped this place with the needs of the travelers in mind: convenience, privacy and large space. This apartment is perfect for weekly or long term stays (our guests have stayed 4 months on average). Here is the breakdown of the place:

GUEST ACCESS

You have full and private access to the entire apartment as listed above. The only shared room is the laundry room and we only do our laundry a couple times a month. We have our own garden on a different side of the house so you have your privacy at all times.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Glashland is a neighborhood in the North of Kansas City (Northland). It is one of the most practical neighborhood in town. Not only it is located only 5 min away from all major highways - making going in and out fast and easy - it also features all major grocery and convenience stores within 5 miles.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe, while keeping the rest of Kansas City within reach. The highways make it really easy to reach all major attractions within 20-30 min. It is a perfect place for a retreat after a long day of work/fun.

GETTING AROUND

It is necessary to have a car to get around Kansas City. KC is very spread out. The Northland is really not the right solution for you if you don't have a vehicle. The public transportation within Downtown KC is a little more developed.

I bought this home because I have always enjoyed hosting people. This apartment is fully separate from the rest of the house, providing both great hospitality opportunities while maintaining privacy.

What makes this apartment unique

This house is a labyrinth. It looks small from the outside, but there are hidden rooms in the layout. I discovered all the rooms after I visited the home on the 3rd time!
