Beautiful spacious apartment attached to 100 year old charming home, less than one mile from the heart of downtown. Large bedroom with comfortable bed- living room-clawfoot bath tub in bathroom- great neighborhood! Only a mile to the Grove Park Inn. Pet friendly! Free WIFI! Safe and quite neiborhood and great friendly hosts to assist you with your stay in our loving city of Asheville. Ask any questions you wish! Always dog friendly!
Tom & Mike are originally from California and moved to beautiful Asheville in October of 2010. They own two local coffee houses and cafes and are deeply involved in the local community.
Tom & Mike purchased this cottage in 2010
We bought our property for its charm and the quite neighborhood. You will feel you are in the woods but you can walk to Downtown Asheville!
Wonderful and easy stay ! Tom and mike were awesome and so accommodating! Perfect for a pet lover. We will be back !!!!!!
Mike and Tom are very easy and efficient to deal with - the little "extras" are icing on the top.
The accomodation was very spacious, clean and tidy with no sign of any other pets having stayed recently either inside or out.
Located just outside downtown, one could walk to town if they were feeling in need of some urban exercise, but getting out of town to hike off the Blue Ridge Parkway is a more enjoyable form of exercise.
A visit to one of their coffee restaurants is definitely recommended, good coffee, attentive friendly staff and mostly locals in the one we went to on Merrimon.
We would stay here again with our dog next time we have a need to stay close to downtown Asheville.
My wife and. We're visiting for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this cozy cottage / apartment . The unit was very clean and nicely decorated and appointed . Loved the space in both the bedroom and living area. Far nicer and better then any hotel room or suite . Also appreciated that it is dog friendly ....and our fog seemed to like the space as well . ( I could not get him to do his own review ) . The location is also a big plus . About one mile from downtown Asheville and in a very nice neighborhood of its own . We also like the coffee , wine and gift card for the owners coffee shop in Asheville ( great coffee and a very nice breakfast ) . We would definitely stay there again on future trips to Asheville . Important to note the unit is very spacious and well decorated , yet , it does not have a kitchen ( has small fridge , coffee maker , micro wave is included )
Overall, some of the best hosts we've ever had using VRBO. Exceeded our expectations.
Everything worked fine, the welcome gifts were a much-appreciated gesture, and the location made it easy to get downtown. We didn't bring our dog (this time) but it is very dog-friendly. It's a great option if you want/need more than a studio but not break the bank!
We arrived in the afternoon and the place was clean and ready for our move in. Tom and mike were very helpful as our plans changed and we arrived a day earlier than expected. The bed was comfy and lots of hot water for showers after my sweaty yoga classes. They gave us resturant suggestions and each one was a winner. I loved the special touches bottle of wine and coffee beans. The coffee maker even grinds and brews. Thanks again for
Sharing this great little space with us.
