Our updated 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath family friendly town home is just steps away from the beach and swimming pool and has become extremely popular for many return guest. Unit 93 is located in the most popular section of Southbay and includes our units beach chairs & umbrella, body boards, and beach toys for you and your family to enjoy during your stay! Our town home also has a table booster seat for your child if needed.

Southbay by the Gulf is a community of privately owned town homes. This resort style community is located on 300 feet of one of the world's most beautiful beaches with pristine powder white sand and crystal clear water. Park in your reserved parking spot within steps of your front door and avoid all those High-Rise Condo Headaches.

This privately owned two story beach town home has been recently updated in 2016 and is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath that sleeps 8 and has approximately 1300 square feet of living space. This beautifully decorated beach town home is well appointed with everything you need to make your vacation memorable. Step out of the front door for a 10 second walk to the pool or about a 1 minute walk to the beautiful beach. No roads or parking lots to cross.

All guest have access to the property's 300 foot of private beach, two adult swimming pools (one heated during the winter) and two pools for children with an air compressor station to blow up your inflatables. You can also play tennis or shuffleboard in the lighted tennis court area, fish for bass and brim in the five acre stocked lake, or enjoy feeding the lake’s many ducks, turtles and birds from the bridge and gazebos.

Southbay by the Gulf is located in the heart of Destin and is close to restaurants, supermarkets, deep sea fishing charters, pontoon boat rentals, and golf. Loved it!!

We spent a week at this town home with another family from back home and had a great time! The town home was beautiful and had everything we needed. The beach and the gulf water was awesome. We spent every day enjoying the ocean breeze as the kids played in the surf. The town home was close to the swimming pool and loved how the kids could run back and forth to grab snacks and drinks. There are so many choices for dining and entertainment. We even brought the kids bowling one evening. Overall this was an excellent town home with a great location.

Great trip with family and friends!

We came over from Texas and spent an amazing week here. The town house is beautiful and had everything we needed to make our stay great. We were a group of eight (four adults and four children). The town home is in a great location.....loved the short walk out the back or front door to the beach and very close to the swimming pool, which the kids loved. All of the beds were comfortable and each room had its own flat screen TV.

It was convenient to BBQ on the large back patio or cook in the kitchen as it had everything we needed.

We had a great time with family and friends and look forward to returning to this town home!

Family Fun!

After visiting Destin with my family, I honestly can not think of a more perfect location! We were just a very short walk from the beach and next to the swimming pool. The town home was very clean and nicely stocked. Loved the master bedroom set. All the furnishings were great. When you leave the property there are several places just right there! Mellow Mushroom, Sunsations, Winn Dixie, The Pancakery, gas stations... then just a short drive and you can be anywhere you like: The Track, Banana Barts, The Harbor Walk, Walmart, Target, etc... We loved Fudpuckers! Good food and very reasonable! We had a great time!

The owners did an excellent job of informing us of what to expect and driving directions. Never had to call or wonder about anything. I would suggest anyone looking for a nice beach vacation to stay at this town home. We will stay there again!

Best vacation, least favorite rental

My family rents a unit every year through VRBO. This was probably the least favorite of the rentals we've done.

We are used to staying at private owned condo's. With private owned, you can expect there to be soaps, towels, beach toys, kitchen supplies, spices.... This condo has the minimum as far as that goes. The pantry is empty, the drawers have the minimum. It's okay, but just expect to bring more things with you when you go.

The mattress in the master was beyond done. When I say beyond, the center of the mattress was 4" lower than the edges. This was mentioned to the owner, and he said it would be replaced next visit. That's fine, but it's not like the mattress just started to fail.

The internet is wifi, available to all the condo's. It most likely is a slow connection to start, and than multiply that by every condo in the place. Dropped connection constantly, and when it stayed connected, don't expect anything to actually load. Since I rely on the internet for everything, including figuring out where to eat, where to go, it's a big deal.

When you walk in, you'll see an advertisement for all of the free things you can get during your stay. Free dolphin cruise, free fishing trip. Ignore that. Because you didn't book through the condo company, you don't get any of that.

It's not a bad place. We had one of the best vacations ever there. We will look elsewhere for our next booking.

Owner's Response: I think you may have our unit confused with another rental you may have previously stayed at as our town home is privately owned. The issues you are describing do not pertain to our unit. The entire master bedroom suite including the king mattress is one year old and does not sag in the middle. All of the furniture in our town home is brand new. We provide plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for three bathrooms. We even provide kitchen towels if needed. We also provide starter items such as: bar soaps in all bathrooms including the kitchen, dish detergent, laundry detergent, and trash bags. We have a completely stocked kitchen with everything needed including: blender, crock pot, toaster, pots & pans, plates, glasses, forks, knives, baking pans, cooking utensils, salt & pepper, ect. I am also somewhat confused about the empty pantry statement as we do not advertise that we provide snacks or grocery items. We absolutely do not advertise free dolphin cruises or free fishing trips any where on VRBO or inside our unit. Once again, what you are describing is not our town home. Regards, Rita Greene

Refreshing Paradise!

I wanted to thank you for an awesome week! We had excellent weather the entire week and the beach and water was great! The location was perfect. Next to the pool and very short one minute to the beach. Your town home is absolutely beautiful and so tastefully decorated....the decor has a calming effect. We enjoyed being able to do laundry and use the full kitchen to prepare meals. The condo was very clean and well-maintained.

We very much enjoyed dinner at The Back Porch and Harry T's. We also enjoyed great drinks and oysters by the half shell one afternoon at A.J.'s Seafood & Oyster Bar. In the middle of the week rented a pontoon boat and spent the day at Crab Island catching Hermit Crabs and Sand Dollars. Great experience for the family!

I highly recommend this town home and we will definitely be returning to this paradise! After a week here, we felt fully rested and refreshed. We feel it was one of our best vacations!

EXCEPTIONAL!!!

This was our first time staying Southbay #93 with our family and will not be our last!! The owners were great & went above & beyond to make sure our stay was perfect!! The town home is very spacious & the back patio is HUGE!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need..the whole town home was stocked with little extras of everything! Southbay #93 is a corner unit which makes it nice with lots of privacy. Both the beach and swimming pool were very close which the kids loved!

I cannot say enough about this town home!!
