About David Bosch

Bosch Holdings consists of myself, Dave and my wife Karen. We both were born and raised in Saskatchewan and now live in the False Creek area of Vancouver. Karen is a morning show radio announcer at the local Country station, 937 JRFM. My career is boring and a little less dynamic as I own and operate an insurance company!

David Bosch purchased this condo in 2015

Why David Bosch chose Whistler

After owning and enjoying a vacation property in the Phoenix area for 5 years, the unattractive exchange between the Loonie and the Greenback forced us to reconsider our goals. We decided on and are ecstatic with the opportunity to own a vacation property in Whistler, Canada's Four Season playground. Known for it's skiing, we visited several times to enjoy world class dining, spas and relaxing accommodations. There is a very unique vibe to Whistler... just walking down The Village Stroll, you get the sense you are someplace special!

What makes this condo unique

We looked at several properties , but the minute we walked into this condo we knew it was the one. The twenty foot ceilings makes the place seem much larger than the actual square footage. Looking down from the loft, you view the entire space. The Pure Bread bakery downstairs fills the entire building with that fresh baked bread smell day and night and is a staple for breakfast goodies to go with your morning coffee.

Located right on the Village Stroll and across from children's sled and skate park. Really comfortable beds and nice living room where we watched the Oscars on large sectional and comfy gas fireplace. (Sorry LaLa Land - no best picture for you.) Easy to walk to gondola but best tip is to use the ski valet at Carleton Lodge. Our fee for 5 night, daily in-out storage was $25CD total. Can't beat that, so cheap and it's 50 yards from gondola. It's an easy walk from condo but why bother lugging skis when the valet is so cheap. Grocery store IGA is only about a 500 yard walk - nice and easy when carrying back groceries. Ok I probably sound like I'm an old lady. I am!!!!! Hey I'm still skiing at 56 so no judgement. :-) Love washer dryer in condo so could pack light for the trip. Highly recommend.

Owner's Response: Janice; Thank you for your kind and flattering review! I was not aware of the equipment storage option at Carlton Lodge. I will definitely be adding that to my instruction list! It appears to be $5.00 per day? Again... I hope to be able to host you again! Dave

Great condo for the money!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at David's condo in August and we were very happy. Everything was clean and the location was central to everything! Everything was very comfortable and spacious. My boys loved the loft area for extra privacy. Thank you again, we will definately be back for sure!

Quiet and Dave is great

  • 4 of 5

Dave's place shows better in person than in the photos. Very quiet and Dave was very prompt and responsive to any questions. Really appreciated the luggage carts and convenient location. We didn't have to drive anywhere! Thanks again.

Convenience is amazing

  • 5 of 5

The location of this property is perfect. It is very convenient to everything yet not too loud at night. The owners are extremely responsive and provided everything we could have needed. The place is clean and spacious, with tasteful decor. My kids loved the "swirly" stairs and bunk beds. We would definitely stay here again. The amazing bakery downstairs is also a plus!

Welcome to Super, Natural British Columbia! Whether you ski in the winter, or mountain bike or golf in the summer, Whistler has it all. Whistler has become a world class resort, especially since hosting the 2010 Winter Olympic games. The condo is in the heart of it all... close to shopping, restaurants, and of course, the ski lifts and mountain bike parks. It sleeps 7 comfortably with a queens in the bedroom, a double/super single bunk in the loft, and a queen pull out in the sectional in the living room. It has 2 TV's with a PVR and a Sony Playstation 3 for watching movies or the gamers in the crowd. There is underground parking for one vehicle and ski/bike lockers. We are directly across the street from Whistler Olympic Plaza, where most festival and events take place. Finally, on the main floor of the building, there is Pure Bread bakery. It fills the entire building with the smell of mom's home baked breads. Quite possibly the best bakery we have ever discovered. Come, enjoy and relax.
