Our luxurious villa, situated in a magnificent Golf and Country Club setting, overlooking the Luberon, is within half a kilometre of the village square where there are shops and restaurants. In the main house there are 3 bedrooms (2 with king size beds and 1 twin beds), l ensuite bathroom and l shower room, large lounge/dining area with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, cloakroom, mezzanine, English satellite TV and multi-language cable TV including English, French, German and Italian channels, DVD; study area with free broadband and telephone calls to landlines in Western Europe. further cloakroom. Facing the pool and opposite the main house, there is a separate guest annex which can only be rented with the main house. This comprises a large bedroom with king size bed and space for cot and/or folding bed, shower room, kitchen annexe and cupboard with shelves and hanging space.
Please note that if you only wish to rent the house and not the annex, there will be a reduction from the price quoted.
There is a large swimming pool and a very popular spacious jacuzzi, lawn with shaded area, sun terrace and covered terrace with table and chairs, BBQ, table tennis table and boules pitch. Sheets, bath towels and cleaning on arrival and departure are included in the price. Welcome pack also provided. A wonderful house for families holidaying together, grandparents or nanny who would like space their own space.
The villas are situated on the 450 acre Seve Ballesteros designed golf course with views of the Luberon and the Alpilles. The golf course is 18 holes (6,303m, Par 72. There is also a driving range. The clubhouse has excellent amenities including a bar and restaurant and is open to non-members. There is a resident professional and lessons can be booked through the Clubhouse on 00 33 (0)4 90 57 40 79. A second smaller golf course was opened in 2010 at Pont Royal. There are several other golf courses within a one hour drive of Pont Royal.

Provence is considered to be a dry temperate region and enjoys, on average, 300 days of sunshine a year with rain falling on a maximum of 90 days. It enjoys long hot sunny days throughout the summer and crisp bright winters. During winter and spring the southern regions of the Cote d'Azur, Provence and the Rhone valley occasionally experience strong winds called 'le Mistral'. Spring is the time of the year, however, when the poppies and sunflowers begin to appear and the air is fresher and cooler than that experienced during the summer months. Temperatures are slightly lower nearer the coast due to the sea breezes.
It is a painters' paradise with splendid light.
We have a fluent English/French speaking lady who manages our villa and who is available to help clients. She will arrange trips, baby sitting, cleaning etc. and will also help out 24/24 when an emergency occurs. A cot and/or child bed can be provided free of charge if required.

We love Pont Royal because of the fantastic facilities in the area. At present there is an 18 hole championship designed golf course in the Domaine and a new 6 hole course was completed in 2010. Apart from golf, you can hike in the Luberon or the Alpilles, rent a bicycle, play tennis, hire a canoe at Gordes or sample the many local wines. If you are an aspiring artist, the Provençal light and colours really are an inspiration. Aix en Provence, Avignon and Arles are all within easy driving distance. There are some beautiful beaches within an hour's drive and the marina at Marseille boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Marseille airport only 45 minutes drive away.
Our property is situated in a quiet residential street less than 5 minutes walk from the bustle of the village square with its mini supermarket, newsagent, gift shops and restaurants. It is very much our second home and we have furnished it as such, with good quality furnishings, some of which we bought while living abroad. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is plenty of space with a sitting room downstairs and a TV and computer area upstairs with an excellent selection of books and games. In addition to the swimming pool, table tennis table and boules pitch, we also have a large jacuzzi - about the only rental property to have one! We provide bats and balls for the table tennis, boules etc. and there are also plenty of toys for use in the pool.
We are just back from our wonderful stay at your villa in Mallemort so wanted to drop you a few lines.The entire family really enjoyed it. The villa is very well equipped (we found the internet connection really convenient) and ideally located.
The garden was lovely and the lavander smell when swimming added a special touch to the experience. All the indications you gave us were really helpful, thank you.

This is the 2nd time that my family (2 adults and 4 children aged from 6 to 15 years old) stays in Mas des Hirondelles. We all had a great time again this year! The house is perfect for family and friends vacation. Everyone can find the space needed to relax when needed, and spend time together on the nice terraces. The jaccuzzi is a major plus to the house, the kids spent hours playing in hot water , and adults enjoyed 'apero' time in there too. The service is also very good, Karen and the team are available when ever needed.
This is the perfect house for perfect vacation.
La maison est bien conçue; les pièces sont de belle taille. Il y a tout l'équipement dont on peut avoir besoin que ce soit à l'intérieur ou pour la piscine et le jardin. Le jardin est isolé des villas voisines.
On sent que la propriétaire est une personne très bien organisée et qui a le souci du moindre détail au bénéfice de ses locataires.
Bref, à recommander et si nous en avons l'occasion, nous n'hésiterons pas à la relouer.

The property is delightful, very clean and well maintained and very well equipped. We stayed in the annex, which is a wonderful addition, giving that little bit of extra privacy, and with it's cool, neutral decor making for a truly relaxing ambience.
With many excellent restaurants, enjoyable walks, places of interest and of course the great golf, all nearby, I would recommend this for a great family holiday.
Nous sommes une famille avec 4 enfants de 5 a 14 ans. Nous avons passe une très belle semaine dans la villa qui est parfaitement située dans le domaine de Pont-royal, permettant d'accéder au centre du village en quelques minutes. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et très agréable, les enfants ont profité de toutes les commodités (Ping-poing,pétanque..) et ont passe des heures a se baigner dans la piscine et le jacuzzi qui est un gros plus. La villa est joliment décorée et très fonctionnelle. Toute la famille s'est immédiatement sentie à son aise. Le service impeccable de Karen est également très appréciable pour assurer un séjour sans faille. Nous nous sommes régales. André et Audrey

Pont Royal is in the heart of Provençe, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. This is the sunniest department and is a consistent performer at the top of the table over many years. It is close to Aix en Provençe, Avignon, the Luberon, Arles, St Rémy and the Camargue. Mallemort, at 4km, is the closest town. Pont Royal is 40 minutes drive from Marseille Airport and the TGV stations of Avignon and Aix en Provence, 3 hours from Paris by train and 2 hours by car from the nearest ski resorts. The Mediterranean beaches are within one hour. Isle sur la Sorgue is known worldwide for its famous antiques market. The Gorges du Verdon are also with easy driving distance. During the summer, music and arts festivals take place in Avignon and Aix en Provence and there is a music festival in July at La Roque d'Antheron.

Pool and jacuzzi heated from approx. 1 June - 31 Aug. Charge of £100 or 140 euros per week outwith this period. Pool towels available for 7 euros each.
Changeover day is Saturday within season but flexible during the rest of the year. Arrival is after 4.00 pm and departure is 10.00am (unless otherwise agreed in writing with the owner). This is necessary to allow sufficient cleaning time between clients.
