The apartment is very comfortable and stylish on two levels with small private garden. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large dining room kitchen, conservatory. Sofa bed in lounge. Lower level bedroom is spacious, sleeps 3 with low ceiling. The price is for 4 guests, any extra guests pay 50 each per night The location is perfect for visiting the city, half a mile walking. Jesmond is considered a fashionable area with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, parks with a great local metro service which runs directly to beach area, city centre and connects to main train station. The apartment is well furnished with all kitchen amenities.price negotiable.

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Newcastle upon Tyne

Great location in a lovely suburb, near the city. The transport system is excellent however walking is highly recommended as you can get into the city in ten mins. The flat is in an Edwardian building which is charming.

Fantastic stay - beautiful apartment with character.

7 of us stayed in the apartment for the weekend, as we had a black tie event in Newcastle that weekend. The apartment was the perfect place for all of us to get ready together, in the comfort and warmth of a beautiful home - rather than being cramped in a hotel room. The apartment is spacious and well-designed. We had a fantastic stay and couldn't recommend it more to others staying up in Newcastle. The apartment is close to all the essential shops and social bars in Jesmond, and a short taxi/drive into town. We had a truly great time, the comfort and character of the apartment really made our weekend special. Thank you!

Amazing place to stay

Stayed with a group of friends for my daughters birthday, the apartment was lovely, very querky and spacious.

We would definitely stay here again as the owner was helpful and accommodating to us. We would highly recommend.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped apartment

We stayed over Christmas to enable us to have a family celebration with an elderly parent who lives in Newcastle and the apartment was a great space to do this. It was homely, warm and comfortable, the kitchen was equipped well enough for us to do a full Christmas dinner, and the living space was great for relaxing, playing games and watching films. The basement bedroom is almost like a second apartment. It was cosy but be aware its acess is by steep stairs and the ceiling is low (we’re all over 6 foot tall and had to bend down there! Not a problem but worth knowing). Thanks Kate for all the extra touches that you’d put in to make the place so Christmassy.

A fascinating base for an interesting city

This is a most intriguing, very spacious and extremely nicely equipped apartment, within walking distance of the city centre, and even closer to a number of excellent restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away, despite being unlucky with the weather, and would wholeheartedly recommend the apartment to anyone wishing to visit "the toon". We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Kate, the owner, for providing us with such a pleasant base for our stay. (We have tried and failed several times to convey our thanks via the HomeAway reply system which doesn't seem to be working!)
